I know this is a little late, but it always best to do a test spot first. Work on one small section completing all of the steps in your planned process first. You want to make sure you can make that one section look good before going over the entire car with your first step.
Here is an example of someone going over the whole car without checking to see if there process works on one small area first. I would just hate to see you driving around with a car all micro marred up.
