Have you guys tried this marketing strategy...?

The best marketing i had for my previous buissness was clothes. Hats beanies shirts etc. And i almost wore them everywhere. Its like your pounding yourself into others heads. I cant tell you how many new customers i had just by wearing the shirts.

I thought about this, and just like shoeless said...it won't be long before their vehicle is dirty again.

The thing that I've used that has worked really well for me...is key chains. I attach them to peoples keys, and when they come back in...they're still there. I've even had new customers come in with them, and say that they were given the key chain by one of my regular customers.

It's about the only thing I buy to hand out to people other than brochures and business cards. It's a constant reminder on their keys. :dblthumb2:

can u PM me the company u use for the keychains? Thanks! what kind of rate do they charge u? Thank u sir!

I personally just ordered a lot of fridge magnets from vistaprint with my logo and website on them

I like the keychain idea a lot

Would chose to do magnets or keychains over a license plate frame or pen IMO

pens get lost. people already pointed out eventually the car will be dirty with the license frame on their

keychains people may leave on there (after you put it on of course). and people aren't so quick to discard a fridge magnet since it has a use. but now you're name / logo is always within sight in the kitchen

I couldn't even tell you the name, ha. I know, it's sad. The reason is because he calls me frequently and asks if I need anymore...every now and then, I tell him yes.

Usually, I've got my hands full and the phone call is quick. I know I've heard him mention the name. But, it's in one ear and out the other for me. I'll look into it, I can probably find the info somewhere in my office.

cool! i really appriciate u looking it up. i looked online at various site, and they are pretty pricey! im not trying to spend $500+ like most of these sites require.

can u post a picture of one of your key chains? if i like the look and purchase some through him with my logo and info, he might hit u with a big referral discount!

thanks for your help Kristopher!

I believe I paid $200 for 300 key chains. 66 cents a piece basically. You should be paying roughly in that price range.

From my experience it seems like everybody is in that range pretty much. I get calls all the time from people trying to sell me key chains, and it's always about the same.

Here is my current key chain. This is VERY basic. No logo or anything like that. I will be upgrading these this year. I'd personally like to design them myself...so maybe vistaprint or something. They also came in blue, red, and green.

Little tip: people do actually enjoy choosing a color. As dumb as it sounds, I can't count how many times somebody reaches in the jar, takes one and says "actually, I like the red", then swaps them out, ha.

It's obviously a little beaten up, ha. I have this one on my van key...
