Agreed. It's THAT good!I had both. No longer have reflect. In fact I've dumped every finishing polish I ever owned once I used HD polish.

AAT WILL work best with a rotary. However, the forced rotation of the 3401 works good with the abrasives of AAT as well.I was gettig ready to pull trigger on the AAT compound and polish both. Just wondering if your choice of machine may of had an effect on how they worked for you? I know the Flex is a monster of a machine but the AAT line was built to work with rotary. Which as we all know rotary and DA's use different methods of working the products we all use.
4500 is a finishing polish and you say it left micro marring on your paint? What pad were you using?
I polished a few months ago with 2500 and it came out good and then I applied zaino and it streaked like crazy. I was pretty upset after all that work and that was it for me and zaino.
As I am getting more into coatings, I needed to polish again and due to this I ran like 5 test spots and examined the results. I started with LC black and menzerna 4500 and went to black 4000 and 2500. Then I tested LC white 4000 and 4500 and the best was black 4000. It really proved the value of a test spot. Unfortunately I have bad lighting since I have to work outdoors and for whatever reason it is almost impossible to see these hairline scratches. It was about 90 percent correction. This Lexus paint is very tricky. After all the polishing, I saw micro marring but it still looked great so I went ahead and applied the coating.
This is why I am looking for the "best" finishing polish. One thing to note. Are there any polishes specifically designed for a da flex, as it seems most polishes are for rotaries which I will never use. The girots Rupes have their own and it appears a lot of folks use menzerna on a flex but I am still searching for the best finishing polish (if that even exists).
Who makes Pinnacle polishes. I'm guessing Menzerna.
It seems for the money choosing HD is the way to go, but how about results? Lets have your results/opinions.
That maybe, but they don't manufacture. Some major brand is making it for Pinnacle. Wonder who that might be?Spoke with my contact at Pinnacle & they have nothing to do with Menzerna. The abrasive technology that is used in both products is similar, DAT (diminishing abrasive technology). But pinnacle is a stand alone brand. Hope that helps.
Exaccctttlllyyyyyyyyyyyy my experience, too.I really wanted Reflect to work as it's so easy to work/wipe off, but it tends to leave faint micro marring on most paints for me.
