You guys really have me wanting a 32 oz bottle to replace D151. Any word from AG staff when you'll be back in stock?

I am also a Menzerna fan boy however i get a lot of customers who are best served with a quick AIO and the price of HD Speed coupled with the fantastic workability and results are more favorable for me as a business expense.

Since I started using all the HD products a year ago ALL of my Menzerna products haven't left the shelf and are collecting dust. IMHO Speed smokes Menz 3.n.1 pretty much in every category.

Lower cost, less product usage, longer working time, ease of removal.

I know how you feel. I've had a couple MBZ and now an Audi and Menzerna has been my brand of choice for a lot of products. However, I can say since I've used the HD Line up that I'm seriously considering only using them.

If you're running a business I would think they make even more sense as the pricing is great. Seriously though, the products for me were surprisingly good and do seem to finish better than the comparable ones form the Menzerna lineup.

Just my two cents.
 
I would be curious to hear how long the protection lasts with Menz 3-In-1 though.
 
When it comes to price/performance, HD Speed is probably one of the best AIO's on the market available right now.
 
This thread has me wanting to try HD products. I am about to buy the smaller backing plate, hybrid pads and Menzerna for my Flex 3401. Now I thinking of HD products.
One question does the Speed stain trim, or any HD polishing products?

Hofiveo, i've not had any issues with HD Speed staining trim and that's another attribute of it for me. As far as Menzerna comparisons to HD products i am limited to only trying Speed. I am still a big fan of Menzerna products and absolutely love them with my LC hybrid pads and the Flex 3401 for cutting, polishing and jewelling (ala German Mike methods). That is not to say one can't get the same or even better results with 3D HD products. I have found exactly what i like to work with in the Menzerna line. Maybe its my predominantly German paint market i have.

Custmsprty has much more experience in the HD product line and i read every post he throws up on them with interest. As far as a comparison between FG400 and HD compounds, i don't think i need any more working time than FG400. I'm trying to cut time and achieve the same or better results and have found Speed to be that product that hits the sweet spot for my AIO customers. Again, it is a perfect fit from my business and time expense coupled with fantastic results.

Again and as stated a thousand times here, people have their favorite products and i both admire and respect that. I always maintain an open mind with the progressive nature of this business and there are bound to be new products offered by the manufacturers that will work perfectly for certain individuals. The hard but FUN part is finding yours!
 
If I may pipe in, I'm interested in this as it compares to McKee's 360 aio. For a brand new first timer correcting light swirling on a brand new black vehicle.

I'm an xmt 360 fan. Well, McKee's 360 it's called now. Don't know if they tweaked it or not, but would like to find out. I like it because you can work it until it's gone with a quick and fast wipe just to ensure there's no residue left over. Gives a brilliant shine and offers a little cut too, slight.

I've really been wanting to try some HD Speed, but just haven't gotten around to it. Along with mentioning Speed and 360, I can't help but mention, since we're talking all-in-one products, Optimum Poli-seal. I don't buy it often, but I really liked it's cut, working time and it's shine. Durability wasn't bad either, but I can't give specifics...other than it lasts much longer than Meg's cleaner wax.

If HD Speed is better, and doesn't need to be wiped off (360 and poli-seal didn't when I used it) then I think I'll really like it. I just need to buy some...but, I haven't even opened my wolfgang aio.

I'm a 100% commissioned sales guy, so for the record that is a 30% cost difference. So if you're doing this for a living, well that number says it all. It's a 30% better profit on your cost of goods. That's real money folks!!!

I'm a fan of HD Speed and have been using it since it was first released, but without a coat of Poxy or some other sealant durability is not the best--by allowing the Speed to stay on the paint until the whole car is complete before buffing off yields about 3 months for me. So I'm wondering how 360 by Mckees 37 stacks up to HD Speed. They claim about 6 months of protection, but haven't heard any real world confirmation of that claim--also how does it's correcting ability compare to Speed??

FG400 has more cut than HD ADAPT. ADAPT is no slouch, however, and it finishes very, very well.

I understand there is a price difference. Different clear coats require different products, that's why we do test spots. Sure your Hyundai turned out nice with Adapt but I've tried Adapt on other paint and it didn't cut compared to FG400. Time is also another factor - if FG400 can do it in less time you are making up the cost difference also. If detailing was my full time profession I'd probably use the cheaper products also. Everyone has their favorites and go-to products, HD Adapt just isn't one of mine.

Never used FG400 but I used Adapt on the bumpers of our van which take a beating and it finished so nicely that I couldn't tell where the cut-off was when I had a portion of that same bumper with Meg's Ulitmate Polish in an attempt to make it even better. In the end, Adapt required nothing addtional. I simply did an IPA wipe down to insure the surface was cleaned then I sealed it up. Like sporty above, I used an oranage pad.
