The reason I said what I did was in case you miss some polish while wiping it off or there is dust left behind, wash just to make sure you have a clean surface to apply your LSP. I'm no pro but most of what I have read on here has been to wash or wipe down between polish and LSP. I don't see where it can hurt other than added work, Maybe I don't need to do this and am wasting my time. I'm still learning here. Anyone else have ideas on this?I disagree on washing or wipe before wax or sealant. There is nothing in UC that will interfere with a wax or sealant. UC contains water, light petroleum solvents, glycerine and alumium oxide. Nothing there that will bother a wax or sealant. Perhaps the wash/wipedown thing goes back to a time when polishes did contain petroleum oils or perhaps it's just something someone thought up because it sounds so techie and involved.
