I finally got around to restorting my 9 year old headliner. It was long over due from the day I bought it 5 years ago. I then had purchased it from a couple who where "light" smokers .

Process...
1) Poorboy's World Bio-Degradable APC - Diluted 15-1 and 10-1 for tougher spots.
2) Section sprayed with APC
3) Scrubbed with toothbrush
4) MF used to "damp" remove loosened dirt.
5) Re-sprayed with APC
6) Quick surface brushing with toothbrush
7) Vacuumed

I'm surprised the headliner actually stayed intact after all that. They are usually pretty fragile. Came out really good! :props:

Looks Great!! I've had luck using a similar process process. The key is to not oversaturate and if possible remove headliner from vehicle!

Nice job on the headliner!! I find the Poorboy's World APC&D to work very well on interior fabrics. I think PB-APC&D is a much overlooked asset to the effective cleaning of interiors.

Wow what a restoration.

Those photos made it look easy but I bet it wasn't.

Nice :dblthumb2:

Thanks! The hardest part was getting it out of the car. Took just about an hour I think, but after that it was smooth sailing and just patience while cleaning.

I have found PBs Bio APC to be one of the best all around APCs I have used! Great for cars and cleaning the house!

I was worred also, but the big headliner seemed to be very well glued and built. The sunroof liner was much more delicate around its edges - more so because some of the fabric had begun to peel away. I simple used some interior 3M trim glue after the cleaning to re-glue it, perfect now.
