hello my name is lorenzo. I come from Italy. No you did not misread I'm Italian. I come from a city called Rome. I love to do detailing on my car. for me is a hobby.
I attended a smart classes here in europe. in Italy the detailing is a discipline that is growing. but we are still behind in your comparisons. I decided to enroll here in your forum to read, learn from you. where the detailing is born. Like a culture ))
Ps sorry if my english isn't correct as your be ))
Best regards ))

Welcome! and your English is fine. I actually found another detail store today even closer than 3D that I went to a few days back. Seems more mom and pop shop style, but I'm still going to go visit it tomorrow, i'm very excited too.

I'll post pictures of it tomorrow...

I see that it is 10:40 am out there. It's 1:40am here in Los Angeles. I should probably be heading to bed but no school tomorrow :D

Either way, welcome aboard! :dblthumb2:

:welcome: To Autogeek Online Lorenzo! :props:

:welcome: ...to AGO!

-When you said smart class:
Was that the Smart Repair class that you took?

-What was the type of polisher that was used in this class:
(rotary, DA)?

-What is your stance on the RUPES brand of polishers?
(Some models are becoming quite popular here in the USA.)

Thanks for your input.

Bob

Smart detailing classes in europe is not complete like you have in usa the brands who make that smart classes come from usa ( i dont know if i can say what brand is )
They teach you how to proper use a rotary buffer and a DA . Few of them are the bigfoot21/14 polisher flex xc3401 and flex pe 14 . I prefer the 21 cos imho work better . I had try the new duetto and mini too . What i can say they are truly easy to use, very friendly . But if you need to fix deep Scratch they arent so good. i mean you need some step more then a rotary buffer . But your arms will say thank you for use rupes polisher you never will be tired ( let me say the clear coats of Some care like audi bmw mercedes are really hard ) i tink is the same in usa . No windows repair no paint tuch up etc etc for learn that stuff by a smart classes. i should come in LA who is a bit so far from
Rome ))

I actually have a flex pe 14 rotary buffer a shin mate ero600pro and still buying a rupes mini ))
