Hey,

I've always been a fan of detailing and looking to up my game. 20 years ago I used to always wax my cars them got lazy. Always known for. Washing them and cleaning the inside though.

Now I am looking to get back into waxing and correcting paint. I recently bought a 2012 Subaru Forester that has a bunch of imperfections and minor scratches that I think I can perfect with simply a compound like McGuires Ultimate Compound. At least I am hoping. I would like to not need anything beyond a light cut.

So looking to ask to general questions. See you around!

Welcome! Spent fours years in Hartford, CT. Probably a bunch more back in New England eventually.

Depending what pads get the job done for you with UC, hopefully you wouldn’t need a finishing polish to remove compound haze. But prepared to buy something like Ultimate Polish just in case you need a quick polishing pass. If you have any questions about anything, ask away!

Welcome:

Humm....what you're probably need is a simple one step correction.

BlackFire One Step is a good one.
Pinnacle Jeweling wax is another one.

All good stuff.

Need a polisher and 6 to 8 polishing pads.

Tom
