Hello all!

My name is Johnathon and I currently reside in Syracuse, NY, although I grew up in Louisiana. I absolutely love detailing. I previously owned a mobile detail business in Louisiana. I am currently working on starting up a detail shop here in Syracuse. I have lurked on this forum for a long time and finally decided to join. I look forward to interacting with all of you and hopefully gaining some additional knowledge. On top of detailing, I am a car guy. I have owned muscle to European. Here is my current baby:

Thanks for the comment smack. She gets a lot of stares, especially when I play with the air suspension.
 
Welcome to AG, culture shock coming LA to NY I bet! Car looks great and if your driving that currently I bet the CO's are jacked up, waaaaaay up, LOL!

"WELCOME!" I was born and raised in Geneva, about 50 miles from Syracuse, but now I live in East Texas, not too far from the Louisiana border near Shreveport, LA. Like Klasse Act said, it must be quite a culture shock for you - I know it was for me going the other way. Looking forward to you posting pictures of your work as you will have some real challenges up there for sure!
 
Welcome man! I am from Binghamton, NY so not too far from you! Maybe we can do a spring/summer meet up! I am always down for car stuff. I have an 07 Acura TL-S, and I have some Jet Skis we could rip on in the summer!
 
I'm in buffalo NY and a huge VW fan. I absolutely love your passat. The badgeless grill and no amber in the headlights are awesome.

Thanks for all the comments guys about the car. She is truly unique in my opinion, and fast too. I never really knew of VW`s except the Beetle until I moved here.

1. It was quite a culture shock and still is at times. This winter has been the coldest I have gone through, and it has been rough. I moved up here in the middle of February and asked myself what the f*ck I was doing the whole time driving in a snow storm from Ohio all the way here. LOL.

2. I have a Volvo XC60 for winter and when I don`t drive the Passat. I would never drive it in the snow.

3. Yes, they are Rotiform BLQs, they are a different color for this summer. I will post up an article about show season prep on my Passat to showcase some of my work.

4. Private message me guys, I am down for a meet up as well. I am out in Rochester a good bit as my buddy has a car shop that way. And Binghamton is not far from me as well, just a trip on 81.
 
Welcome. Also from the Cuse. Nice dub ya got there! I've got an 09 Acura TSX and a couple older Oldsmobiles. Always willing to get together to learn what I can do with Crystal Black Pearl paint when all the roads up here are blasted with salt and sand!

Mmmmmmmm....American muscle. Ok, you got me. PM me. I`d be glad to get together. My daily is a Black Sapphire Metallic Volvo XC60 R Design. I have become fond of having black for some reason, but despise it at the same time.

Thanks!!!! Of course, I dont drive that low. I do enjoy messing with kids at lights by airing out and then back up.

Maybe we can do a Spring cleanup together!

I don't have a garage as I reside in an apartment in Baldwinsville, can;t wait until this awful weather ends!
