Hey guys, I just picked up a bunch of CarPro stuff yesterday on the sale. Including Eraser, TarX, FogFight and Fixer. Anyway, long story short, next week I'm detailing my friend's (who is in the military) mom's Black Audi A4 for free to try some new products on. She's a great lady and deserves it. I was thinking about trying out the CarPro Fixer then adding CG Blacklight. I haven't heard much about it. Anyone have any experience with it? Thanks for any help guys :buffing:

Hi , im new in this forum , im using actually the entire line of car pro , why are you selling it?? they gave me good results.

Ops.. sorry my bad, i missunderstood your message lol...

let me show you my test with fixer polish..

First test:
Honda fit 2011 hood , made 4 sections after wet sanding with 3000k paper gritt just to make this polish a tough challenge..

first try... fixer polish with DA machine and lake country orange css...

first impressions ...it is not advisable to use much product, it makes a "layer" that sticks and makes more difficult to use

i recomend just to use 4 drops as a small coin
here are the results..

same test with withe css lake country pad..

its almost similar to orange , right? maybe a little bit more of glossy finish

well let's put it more difficult.

flat black finishing pad..

and here we have the results

As expected , the cutting power is less. the results are not so far from what the theory says.

summing up ... I can say that the product is very easy to work as long as they follow the advice of the manufacturer. pad works perfectly with every cut as expected.

great finish to be a one-step polish, I have q further testing to give my final verdict, I hope you show us your evidence as well!

Nice job! What speed did you use with the DA?

When CarPro states "one step", does that mean you can use it for compounding to finishing, depending on the pad selection?

Hi ! 07 z-oh-6! thanks for the compliment !
well thats the idea. and it works for me !
working speed was with 3 to 6 in the finish (3 to remove increasing speed to gain more glossy finish at the end)
