I actually joined in 2013 and I don't think I ever even logged in!

So here I am...

I'm Richard, from the UK originally but now residing in Australia. I started Timeless Car Cleaning in October of 2012 with no money and door knocking with flyers.

We now have a 600 sqm shop and 7 Nissan Cubes which perform mobile services around South Eastern Queensland which we're very proud of. Mostly via direct sales and other less common marketing tactics.

We have a lot more to learn, we are authorised applicators of Modesta, have been authorised to do Opti-Coat PRO+ previously.

Here are a couple of quick pics of a recent Ford Territory we rescued..

Hiya Richard!

Brissie is like my second home! I try to come down at least a couple times a year -- I'm a full Lions member -- and most of my mates in Brisbane are expats from London, Midlands and North. We tend to haunt the Story Bridge Hotel, my best mate lives across the street from it in Kangaroo Point.

Looking forward to seeing more of your results here, welcome!

Welcome Richard and glad to have you "logged in" now mate! Nice looking work and sounds like a pretty cool mobile setup. Best of luck to you going forward.

Welcome to AG Rich.

Time get you started and pick your brain a little.

I am newer to mobil detailing and have a question or two about your mobile set with the Cubes since you must have liked them enough to buy seven. What gear are you regularly packing into them? Pressure washer, extractor, generator, ShopVac, ezup...? Traditional washes or rinse-less?

I been looking for a dedicated mobile vehicle and have been eyeing the newer compact vans like from Nissan and Ford and think they would work well but hadn't really considered the Cube or other similar models but I realize they may be a great option.

I've have been mostly working out of a Subaru Forester and can get most of my things in there but it can be limiting at times.

Wouldn't mind seeing a picture or two of your set up if you could.

Also interested in your other less common marketing tactics.

Welcome aboard!!! Please tell me you have a write up for that ford you posted. That's some amazing correction.

Cheers for the welcome.!

Yeah we surprised ourselves even. No write up, smashed it out at 9pm one evening.

Process was:
Flex 14-2 rotary + HD Purple Twisted Wool Pad + Menzerna FG500. Needed 3 passes of this.

Rupes Bigfoot 21 + LC Black Pad + HD Polish to refine it. Just one pass.
