High School Reunions

My 20th was last weekend...did not go, partly because is was in Detroit and I am in Atlanta.

I read a report recently that said that Facebook is killing the reunions. I speak to my classmates all the time on FB so there is no need to travel to see them in person. Another way that technology is killing social interaction.

Went to my 10th a few yrs ago. It was fun

My wife has her 10th next month and we are going

just had my 20th and did not go . before the plans came out one of the fab-five chicks started fb group for the class so bang there it was most of the class. I had to work anyways which was more important , need ag spending money .

I have my 41st coming up.....no laughing bub...:bat: Last year didn't work out so we had to postpone it...

I graduated High School in 1970.....yea, in the last century before calculators and computers. Gas was $0.29 / gallon and a 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 Six Pack was $3700.00.

Yep, most.
Won't give the year on the last just a story. At our table one of the guys talked about going to TJ to have their car seats reupholstered with tuck and roll for $100. They took their own thread to make sure the seats didn't split. On the round trip they had to add 17 quarts of oil.

I would have went to mine but I live in Texas and graduated in Montana. Too far for me....

Mine had a really poor turn out a few years ago. We keep up more on FB. I'm now friends with people I barely knew in high school. Kinda cool

FB was used as an organizing tool for my 50th. I had a great time

my 30th is coming up and will be attending......it will be the first for me!

Yeah Bobby, I remember those days. Burgers were 6 for $1. Did the 40th reunion but missed the 45th last month.

20th was last month, didn't go. Not even 1/4th of the class was there. Waste of time.

Hey Bobby... I wish I could remember those good old days!!! But I wasn't even born yet..... :D

Might explain why we can do the math in our heads and know our change before Junior can even get it plugged into his cash register.

Walked 10 miles to school uphill both ways? Yeah, me too.

Bobby and I would appreciate it if you'd increase your Social Security contributions. Thank you for your support.

My fifth is coming up in about two years. I don't plan on going. I hated that place, and didn't like too many people there, either. Back in 2008, gas was $4.19 a gallon...

Went to 20 & 30, had a blast. #45 is coming up in 2012 but I doubt I'll go, just no interest in it this go round.

I've never been to any...I don't enjoy being around a bunch of old people. :D
