Hologram HELL!!!

Amazing on many fronts. Those are some powerful images! I really like that color with all the flakes in it and your work makes them stand out.

F*** me drunk, Did the body shop boys use sand paper to buff it, SO! Glossed out now!

I'm loving that green. =)

This is exactly what happened to my wife's G8 after she had an accident. They screwed up the old and new paint washing with dirty water, and over aggressive buffing. I haven't had time to do a full correction yet.

What a fantastic turnaround OP!!

Just plain old disappointing huh. I feel a little guilty for receiving all the compliments for my work, when in reality - MY work was nothing different than what I would normally do, & I imagine the same as anyone on the forum would do, its just whomever did the damage in the first place made my work look great but Thank you everyone who has taken the time to comment! :dblthumb2:

Don't underestimate your skills Aaryn. Yes, that may be typical of your work but there are many who can't do that yet and the one's who can recognize a skill set few people have. Plus the work involved to get those results and then display them so dramatically in photos here is always appreciated...even by the pro's.

Geez. wow. There was COLOR underneath that swirled out mess!!! Fantastic work.

Thank you Paul, very kind words indeed.

This shot looks almost like you peeled a severely scratched and damaged layer of PPF off and exposed the true paint underneath

Haha, I did exactly that to a car last week & it looked very similar to this . . . . except it was blue. :xyxthumbs:

I completely agree with you; how can a body shop legitimately let a car in that condition leave their care? But I also agree with you that they do create work for true pros. Great work.

May i ask you how many hours you have into that complete job like that? I know how long it takes me to do my car and it looks nothing like that when i start.
I realize i am a novice and take much longer than you pros but there is no way i could bill a customer for all the hours it takes me to detail a car. I will stick to building houses!

Hey,

I cannot recall the exact hours spent on this Toyota but it was done in under eight hours. I had my interior detailer doing the interior as I fixed the paint. :xyxthumbs: I must say, onrce I had done my test spot & saw what this green was going to look like - this became a very pleasurable job. Love that green.

This is an amazing transformation in under eight hours. Great work! It would have taken me three days but i guess that is why i only do this for fun.
