this Honda came in after a drive through car wash sprayed cleaners on the paint causing instant staining. there was also an a large amount of swirls and oxidation all over the paint. the customer had somewhat of a tight budget and an even tighter schedule since this was his only vehicle, so we decided to do a one step polish. After a few test spots with different combos the Rupes UHS system got the best results, all paint was topped with Menzerna Powerlock.

Great work. I love to see a nice S2K which is unmolested. Too many kids are picking them up cheaply and doing tasteless, funky mods to them.

Nice work! I miss my S2K. One of the most fun cars I've ever driven.

Great work! The car looks so much better than when it came in.

This is sad but true. Same goes for many older Japanese performance cars. I can't remember the last time I saw a Prelude, Supra, or even an older WRX that isn't a "Frankenstein" both inside and out.

Wow man. Holy cow. One step?? I have to ask, What product did you use for the correction work? Also what pad did you use for the swirls and oxidation removal. I have a flex 3401. The Menzerna Powerlock looks amazing. I just ordered HD Proxy! We shall see how that looks after using HD Speed or HD Adapt.

Never ever take a convertible through a tunnel car wash. The roof will leak. Besides all the other bad things that can happen.

I used the Rupes UHS pad and polish, nothing else. I tried Sonax EX 04-06 and Menz PF2500, both removed the oxidation but couldn't remove the swirls as well as the Rupes system.

Nice job Matt and nice before and after shots.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

Nice job! Which Rupes polish did you use? I miss my S2K as well.

What, you don't like pink wheels and green mudflaps? With a chromed coffee can spewing raspy burbles out the back?

Very nice. I'm trying to pull my '05 S2k out of hibernation right now. Have a couple of mechanical issues to deal with first before I even think about paint correction yet.
