Horrible swirl marks!

glad that it got all cleared up. Post some pics up of the shop. Must be nice to be able to locate places for a decent price. Everything here is well over $1,000 a month + elec + cam fee's

Everyplace I looked at was close to $1000. The place I got needed some work, mainly just clean up, and was a smokin deal! PM me your e-mail and I'll send you some pics and we can keep this thread on topic. :xyxthumbs:

Here are some new pictures for you to enjoy! This was clay bared, Wolfgang TSR 3.0, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze and two coats of Wolfgang Paint Sealant. The finish is glossy and amazingly smooth. Got two compliments at work today at how amazing it looked. :dblthumb2:

Yeah, that sounds about right. It's not a perfect system for drying pads after cleaning them, in fact I've never taught this as a good practice until coming to Autogeek but it can be done, it's just not very efficient like a rotary buffer.

That's interesting.

Makes you wonder why? (Mike)

:)

I have one pad (out of about eight of various colors that does the same thing. Ultimately I determined the pad - when punched cut at the factory, had uneven edges/weight of material. Might have been an end piece off a longer roll or something - who knows. I just have to be careful with that pad a bit but it works till it gets too much product. My drying technique is the same - stand on it with some towels - even paper towels. Then I put it over one of the house heating vents for a bit and it turns out nice and warm and dry. That is a really nice result.

Martin

That's awesome. The great part about getting a killer deal on that car was that you were able to improve the look for not much money. Good luck on your shop.

car looks killer! i'll pm you my e-mail address . . . . or you could always start another thread =)

everyone loves pics, especially of new shops and all the goodies.

Keep up the good work.

Inspiring results. My swirls r very similar in magnitude. What would be the outcome of this using a white pad only?
