How Keen are you on spotting Mismatch Bumper Color

I had a bodyshop I used exclusively way back in the days. Owner decided one day to hang up the Gone Fishing Sign Permanently and moved from NYC to Arizona
He could have sold the shop , franchised it, etc. Still has me scratching my head to this day why he never decided to choose either and just close its doors.

My guy is doing the exact same thing (except he announced it last July)
He has a half dozen employees (I'm trying to get to know them better 😁 ).
I'm hoping he'll let one of them purchase the building so they can continue on
 
Every state in different as well on DV on whether you are allowed 1st party DV or 3rd party claim
17C is the formula I'm working off of. Not planning to spend money for a appraiser but I'll take what they are willing to give based on the 17C standard
 
What a pain.
When automomous cars become the norm I'm going that route.
I'm tired of keeping up with all of these cars
