How NOT to detail a car especially a bentley

Couple "what" moments as I watched to films...

From the first post I made about the business...
“It takes more than a bucket and a hose to clean a car"...hmm what did I just see during the exterior wash?

-"Just bunch it up [wash mitt] and stick it into the cracks".
-"Our chemical is water activated"
-"Get your wash mitt out again. Same as we used on the tires and rims [as he's about to use it in the engine bay also]"..."Thats how we detail an engine".
-On waxing the car..."You want the carnauba wax to absorb into the paint, using another rag".
-"Get your cleaner, any type of carpet cleaner - 409 or Fantastic diluted 50/50" as hes about to work on the leather and carpet :(.

There are soooo many more, but im not wasting anymore of my time with this guy. I can't believe what I have seen. If any of his customers read this thread, PLEASE contact a true Professional from this site to detail your ride. Our detailer should NOT be applying wax with a rag!!

He sprayed that on the dash...:props:

You've gotta be kidding me!!! This is a joke right?! This ain't for real...please tell me this ain't for real...someone...anyone...I'm reaching here *falling out of chair...slowly...trying to grab at anything to hold me up...but it didn't work*

Yeah, this is just soooo sad. I've looked over their site and even their reviews and they are rated 4 stars

I've watched all these crazy movies on this 'monkey' site. And at the bottom it has information about the 'expert' from the 'monkey' web page.....

"It all started in my early teens washing cars in the back of my fathers barber shop. After eight years in the United States Secret Service, I made an unsuccessful run for the United States House of Representatives in 1980. In 1981, I decided to start my own business, Pro Clean of Tysons Corner, Inc. After 26 years of success, we are still washing and detailing cars from Volkswagons to Rolls Royces and have grown to be one of the largest detailing businesses in the Washington DC area. “It takes more than a bucket and a hose to clean a car”, Washingtonian Magazine, 1986"

Sooo, he couldn't make it into the US House to rip people off, so he decided to open a detailing business that rips off people who think they are getting a detail.
This guy is such a slob, he can't even spell correctly. I know what a Volkswagen is, but what is a Volkswagon? He was in the Secret Service?? Seriously? I doubt it. If so, it makes them look bad. Why not say he was in the CIA or Special Forces and say he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor? Secret agent astronaut maybe.
I need proof he was in the Secret Service.

Also, notice he is detailing in JEANS. Jeans have metal rivets that can scratch a car if you lean against it. Not a good idea. Soft Sweat pants are best. At least drawstring pants. At least the rag he is using to apply the wax looks clean. However, it is a squeeze bottle, and he has to unscrew the cap to get the wax out? He couldn't have cleaned out the spout at least for the video? What we need to see are sun shots of cars that he maintains exclusively for a couple years.

Wow... after seeing him spray a decent amount of water into the trunk I'm surprised he didn't say something like, "if you do end up saturating your carpets just close all your doors and park your car outside in direct sunlight to heat up the interior". Wow... someone needs to introduce this guy to the new rinseless wash products available these days.

Wow.... Just... wow.. This is the kind of video you find when someone goes undercover to expose crappy service. Its not normally meant to "advertise" your companies quality work.

And the fun doesnt stop with JUST the videos!!! I just clicked on the site, and found this:

As a child I was not allowed to clean the toilets that sloppy, I believe detailing is an art, like painting . Not every one paints the same BUT they should at least use quality paint on the canvas, not just sling it on and call it a painting.

Mitt, just an old mitt? Chemicals that are water activated? He did say 409 right? Oh lord I had to stopbefore he even touched the car with his chemical ridden old raggady-a** mitt, YIKES!

"Starting at $95 and up" lol "Starting at $95", would be sufficient, or "$95 and up" says it as well, but "Starting at $95 and up"?? lol

2 coats of wax and THEN this coating of TEF GUARD?? How is it supposed to bond to the paint? How???

This guy is a real pro using old, terry cloth looking towels to both wax and dry the car. No wonder he gets to work on Bentley's and such. I should have thought of that.

I was expecting him to drag the water hose over the car, also....picking up the mitt off the floor to wash the car...crazy

i think someone should call the number on his shirt and ask him about how he cleaned the bentley lolol!!!

He sprayed that on the dash...:props:

Not sure he should be spraying directly on the PCM screen.
Usually you spray the cleaning cloth directly not the screen.
Asking for trouble doing that...

i'm glad everyone is enjoying the video but i feel bad for the owner of the car

Ha ha ha this guy is out of his mind.... I think he has more than 25 years of experience , but not autodetailing...:)

I like how if you put all the videos together. He probably spend 15-20 minutes for the whole car. I'll spend 15-20 minutes on a pair of wheels.
