Thanks Nate, but I know how I typically fall off the detailing wagon this time of year. Searched around some and found very little info on this particular subject here. Thought detailing was all about the "details" here. Ha, just kidding. No one offers any sort of undercarriage cleaning/protection here? Could be a good add on but guess you would need a lift or something to do it, or some ramps and laying on your back in puddles with everything dripping down on you. Probably not feasible for mobil detailing. I guess there's the rubberized sprays but I think they could cause as much harm as good. Possibly trapping moisture on a already compromised undercoating. Also, just a thought but I would also be wary of scrubbing wheels to an extreme. You could be removing undercoating or protection. Also I am sure most of you have seen Hondas or Subarus(like mine) that have bubbled rust from the rear quarter where it connects to the bumper at the wheel well. I know this could be prevented some through frequent washes, but I assume this still could happen through vibration and part expansion and contraction. Eventually this area will become compromised and lead to rust and bubbling. Would be nice to find a "oily" product for this purpose. Something that could seep into the cracks and displace and prevent moisture.
