Operation Coal into a black diamond!

Client brought in his hammered 911 for some correction and protection. The paint looked grey, not black from all the defects. Completely covered in heavy swirls, holograms, scratches, road blast pitting (on hood) some crazing/cracking of the clear/beginning of clear failure, haze, water spot etching, you name it…it had it.
It’s not perfect…but oh so much better!

The ‘details’:

Adam’s strip wash
Medium clay alternative mitt
Adam’s wheel cleaner
Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner
McKee’s37 APC
DeFelsko PTG
Scangrip lighting
Flex 3401, pixie and Rupes iBrid
LC force hybrid pads
Griots FCC and PC
GYEON Tire
Auto Finesse glass cleaner
303 protectant on leather/interior
Metro vacuum
Optimum panel wipe
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte
Adam’s black/trim restorer on cowl piece

Thank you for looking/commenting!

Damn Scott, that’s almost as bad as that truck you did a little while back. Great save!

What an amazing save! I would’ve loved to see the look on the owners face when he picked it up, I bet he’s still gazing at it at home!

That’s great man. That paint was Hammered! I’m sure it was really satisfying especially with it being black. Love the outdoor pics especially the last 1.

now THAT'S a turn-around. Nicely done. I know the love-hate that job likely was. Rewarding but loads of work. I might ask a favor if I could regarding one of the before shots. I'll message you.

Always look forward to your Porsche posts, nice work ! I am still waiting on my Carrera S ( Nov delivery if they find the needed chips)

Thanks everyone! He was very happy with the final product! Couldn't believe it, I was happy!

It was a bit of work, but it was very enjoyable and rewarding getting to see the paint respond. 3 steps on most panels was the ticket!

Marky-I look forward to pics when you receive it! (I know most of the GT3's are being held up...due to TPMS modules!)

Lordy Scott...must be reason they call you Mr Sizzle Chest!

Damn great work there!

Tom

Looks like they washed it with a brillo pad.

Amazing. That deserves a spot in the Best Top 10 Paint Corrections HOF. Great job. Another great "turn-around".

Great save and always appreciate your hard work and dedication. Cheers

Wow! Great job correcting the paint surface. This Porsche 911 C4S looks awesome.

That first picture was seriously a shock to me, but an awesome transformation.
Amazing work.
