So used hydro for the first time this past weekend and got the normal first time streaks but it's all over my windshield as well and I can't seem to get it all off. What are you guys using to remove it from unwanted spots?

Same thing happened to me the first time I used it. I removed it with a finishing polish by hand. It didn't take much effort.

Are you guys doing the whole car? I do one panel at a time and have never seen streaks

My issue was to much product not enough rinsing. I have used it several times now with know issues.

I used it for the first time yesterday and got streaking on the windows only. I think my problem was I used to much and the car was in the sun. I didn't notice any streaking on the paint tho. I was able to buff it off the windows with a mf towel.

I also mix 4 or 5 to 1 with no streaks and still good protection

Same here i Like 5:1 and power washer 2-4 squirts on area depending on size and rinse well another squirt here or there where you can see it is not beading like it should then next panel. I use on my windows with no problems way faster then window coatings but doesn't last very long on windshield (month or so).

If possible use out of the sunlight and rinse quickly.

While its still fresh you can remove the streaks with damp mf , buffing them. make sure surface is not hot or under the sun while spraying.
higher dilution ratio is possible too. like few guys mentioned here.

I had this happen to me and i was able to easily get them off with some carpro eraser.

Maybe Avi or someone else can help me as I have searched everywhere for this.
I'm planing to detail my car soon and I was wondering how can I strip Hydro2 from my car?
Or would it be ok to just go ahead and light polish it as it is? I'm planing to use Autoglym Super Resin Polish or some similar light polish (sonax color polish or black hole) with filler as I have some deeper scratches which might go through the clear coat. This way it will "cover" most of them.
I plan to top it off again with hydro2 or maybe even try the CQuartz.

Also, I want to use some carnauba wax to improve the gloss and depth, should I apply it on top of Hydro2?

Anyhow, my main concern is to strip Hydro2 so I can light polish my car with a filler polish. I have tried Eraser and IPA but it didn't seem to help.

P.S. I have a dark gray BMW e46 and I normally use a dilution of 1:5-6 right after I wash it. Sometimes I don't even dry it, as I normally spray it with demi water.

No need for polish if you hydro2 again ^^
For other LSP/ Coating, it's a yes!

well, I want to polish my car, that is why I want to strip Hydro2.
