Hydro2foam

What I was getting at is it should be effective in a spray bottle in a much higher dilution if it works in a cannon well at 1:9.

Say you have a cheapo electric pressure washer that puts out 1.5 gpm. For every minute you are spraying this product in your cannon, you are using the 1:9 mixture + 1.5 gallons of water - which is a huge amount of water, compared to the original dilution.

If your cannon is set so you go through half a mixed 32oz cannon bottle per minute, the dilution that hits the panel is much higher than 1:9. If you use approximately 4oz of the product to fill up a 32oz cannon bottle, the final dilution is 2 : 144; or 1 : 72 that will hit the panel.

So, I'm guessing it works in a spray bottle at much higher dilutions? Can someone confirm?

If it's effective in a spray bottle at 1:70; compare to 1:9 - that's a DRASTIC difference in price per use.
Obviously, all pressure washers use different GPM's, so you're going to get varied results with a standard dilution ratio of 1:9. I think Bilt Hamber did their homework with Autofoam, as you have to find the PIR to your specific pressure washer.

You're all missing the point.

How can the product be equally effective at 1:9 in a spray bottle and 1:9/(gpm of pressure washer).

Avi's answer is even more confusing. He is saying a foam cannon is powered by air pressure? It's powered by the water flow from the pressure washer, which is diluting the product out at least 10x more than the bottle dilution - regardless of what pressure washer it is.

I'm not missing the point. In the post above, I'm agreeing with you, but using pressure washers as an example. They vary as far as GPM's, so results will vary. Having a PIR like bilt hamber would solve a lot of questions. There should be only one method to apply this. When you start varying application methods with a product like this, I think results will vary too.

So, when you say close the vavle, you mean less foam/more water?
I mean to close for less water more foam.

There is foam cannon which pressured by water only and there are the ones with air+water , like Karcher or others. we say with Air+water foam lancer its possible to wash as well your car , with 1:9 dilution mixture , ofcourse it will be slightly less effective than hand wash since water dilute it more , but still workable and effective. customer who wants thicker foaming can use it neat in the lancer for more effect .

I don't think we're missing the point. Foam guns dilute, trigger bottles do not.

I mixed mine 9:1 and used in my mtm foam lance I turned the valve off and actually foamed the whole car twice. I can't say anything about longevity yet since it's only been a couple of days, but I personally like this better than regular hydro2. To me it seems to have more gloss and slickness and had absolutely no streaks.

Also the main reason I bought this was for the fleet of 20 ups style trucks I wash for a uniform company, so this weekend I'll be testing how well it works being used outside in direct sunlight.

Interesting product. Could this be used effectively in a gilmore foam gun?

When is AG going to start carrying this?

EDIT: As soon as I open the darn website to look for it...!
