Some pics of what she looked like when she arrived...
First up was the cleaning of the wheels.
These were rinsed with the HP washer and then sprayed with APC which was left to dwell before being agitated with various brushes. Tires were treated with Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel.
Total time spent on wheels = 1:00
Next was the washing and drying of the car.
I sprayed all door jambs, badges, boot jamb, door handles, petrol cap etc with APC and left to dwell before being agitated with various brushes. The entire car was then rinsed using the HP washer. I then made a mixture of Maxi Suds and APC for the foam cannon. Car was covered in foam and this was left to dwell for a while before being rinsed off. The car was then washed using the 2BM with Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo and a Chenille Wash Mitt. Entire car was then dried in preparation for claying.
Total time spent washing/drying = 1:15
Next was claying.
For this I used some Meguiars Clay and Quick Detailer. After doing the baggie test it was evident that I would have my work cut out for me.
In the pictures below you can clearly see a small black spot (which is some form of bonded contaminant).
After a few passes of the clay you can see it starting to disappear
And voila, all gone!
Total time spent claying = 3:30
