I bought a WORX 20V Powershot cordless power cleaner, anyone use one?

Well harsh chemicals I wouldn't use but I can't see a WW being an issue, especially N914 because it has no protection in it, just cleaners and those aren't harsh, especially when you factor in the dilution ratio.

Ok thank you, that’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. I guess that is my rational for getting N914

Yeah I earned it too, was on hold forever! Once I got the size I hit up Ebay and ordered that size wrench, $6.00 shipped!

My hydroshot arrived today, I tested it out for a bit and am really impressed. I can see the short wand on high pressure being great to rinse my dogs off after a hike/swim in a river/stream. The long wand with high pressure will be awesome for the car. I’m going to take your advice Klasse and order the bottle attachment to use for waterless washes. This is an impressive tool hopefully it lasts and works as well as I’m thinking during the winter.

I'm going to use the Worx machine sometime this weekend to apply a WW and I can't wait because I know its going to be more efficient than my battery powered lawn sprayer, plus I don't have to buy batteries anymore!

Give an update after you give it a try, I’m excited to experiment this weekend as well.

Ok, my wrench arrived today, so the first WW with the Hydroshot (been calling it the Powershot for weeks now, LOL) will be performed tonight but its going to be much later than usual as my wife is going out to dinner with her g/f. I'm using Ech2o made up as a WW, last batch of it for a while and I've got enough for about 2-3 more washes. All I've got left after that is N914 to get me through winter and I'm ok with that!

Ok, so I got all set up to use the Worx Hydroshot for WW duty and it did the coverage fine but I sprayed the entire car thinking I had enough time...WRONG! By the time I had finished the top the rest of the sections were drying already. Its pretty cool outside and I've even got the one garage door open. I looked at things and decided to do an actual soap wash to make it all right but wait, there's more!

While spraying the car down with WW (Ech2o) the bottle began to constrict on itself. Afterwards I remember when someone made this contraption they first drilled a hole for venting but I missed that part, then it was hard to unscrew the bottle attachment from the machine but of coarse I got it. Lesson learned here is this, use the machine to do traditional washes, just not worth it to me but I encourage someone to try it and either confirm what I had to deal with or maybe some tips and tricks to make it easier.

Thank you so much for that info and review. I just ordered the bottle connector so whenever that arrives I will try what you did. I am going to use the hydroshot for a full wash today and will give some feedback on that. Thank you for keeping us updated.

Why would worx make a bottle cap connector that doesn’t have vent holes to prevent the bottle from becoming a vacuum?

I used my own 2L pop bottle, they don't provide the bottle.

I need to wash my wife’s car later and will have her hold my phone to record for better footage. I did two quick videos to show what the hydroshot looks like for wheel cleaning. The first video was rinsing the wheel and tire with the 25 degree fan. (Had to prop the phone on a spray bottle, sorry for the weird angle.) The second video is a final rinse with the shower setting. I did the whole car and had a lot of water left over, maybe half a gallon. I did have the 5 gallon bucket filled to the very top when I started.

I was rewarded for a nice wash on my wife's car this evening by the restaurant, Buca Di Beppo. While inside enjoying our wedding anniversary dinner, the sprinklers came on and ruined the clean car

That’s the worst, I’m sorry to hear that. I guess you have an excuse to wash the car again. I hope you and your wife had a great anniversary!

Thank you!

We did, food is always awesome and plentiful there!! Afterwards we hit a bar and she had a drink and we then headed down to the basement of this place where they had some stand up video games and foos ball. I played Dig Dug and Galaga, just needed my Velcro wallet and Goody comb and I would've been all set.

No time for the car tomorrow, cars and coffee for me in the morning with my buddy Hectour and an Alfa meet at an Alfa shop, I'm just hoping to hear one run, they sound soooo good

Her car is going to have to go through a touch free tomorrow, no time for another good hand wash, she'll be fine

Sounds like you have a fun weekend on your hands. Enjoy cars and coffee, I always want to go but the one by my house is at a casino and the pictures on Facebook scare me. There are so many people and they are all crammed against each other and way way way to close to the cars. I’m sure it would be a blast but that is way to crowded for my liking.

The Alfas do look and sound awesome, I would love to go to a meet like that. I need to start looking for what’s offered in my area and get out more often.
