I love these kind of jobs!
I use a "pumice" stone like stone.
It picks up hair like nothing I've tried before and it gets up all the old nasty carpet fibers and makes the carpet/seats look great.
Go rent a Rug Dr. with the upholstery attachment and you'll get all that smelly dirt out. and the use an Oder Eater that encapsulates that kills the smell.
Done any Jettas lately? ugh.
My pumice stone left white marks on the carpet.
