A late start this year as I had a new driveway poured and a bunch of other stuff going on. I do this on the side so the weekends are my opportunity to make things shine.
A buddy of mine wanted his 2016 Fiesta ST brought back to new. He purchased the vehicle used, and it had the typical swirls you'd find on a black car. After a quick inspection I set expectations and went to work.
Products used:
McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash
Griots PFM drying towels & Griots PFM window towels
Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Gel
Chemical Guys natural shine tire dressing
Chemical Guys Medium Duty Clay & Clay Luber
3D HD Speed
Lake Country Thin Pro 5.5'' & 3'' Orange pads
Optimum Spray Wax
Getting Started:
The hood with typical swirls.
After:
Fender seemed like it was washed with sand paper.
After:
Couldn't resist this side shot.
And the rest of the finished car.
Go easy on me since this was my first post of this sort. Hopefully many more to come as my weekends are booked now through June.
Happy Detailing!
