I need a non-shiny tire dressing

Was it total eclipse tire gel? If so and you don't like, send it my way, I'll pay for the shipping:props:

X2!!!

I'm not saying

I'm just saying I love the stuff. Dime to nickel size blob for each tire... One bottle is going to last me a decade lol

I have been using Detailer's Tire Gloss http://http://www.autogeek.net/dp330.html. It is not gloss as the title would suggest, but a very nice matte. It took me a while to get used to it because I was used to a higher gloss finish. Now I love it. Even in the rain, it seems to last for weeks.

That's it. I was just a sample size. It wanted to stay on the applicator not the tire. Then it wouldn't spread out right. It was so bad I'm assuming it was defective or a bad batch. I kept having to put more and more on. I was using the whole 2oz sample Finally I gave up and just used PB
Natural Look.

opti-bond diluted or Detailers pro tire gloss gel. I really like DP Tire gel for the money. Not too shiny at all either.

Like so many others, I really like Opti bond tire gel (I use it straight up and not diluted) but I would actually classify that as a "semi-gloss" finish trending towards the matte side. Really nice and it's my favorite but not matte. Though not typically a big fan, Adams Polishes VRT tire dressing has a true matte finish but is rather pricey. Haven't personally tired it but I use 303 on my interior and that also is has a true matte finish - if it can hold up on the tires, I would consider trying that.

I'm happy with Meg's ASD look lo shine hope it holds up well just started using it.

what methods are you using to apply the product?

I'm asking because I've tried several and they all appear very close to the same when I'm finished.
Wolf, DP, Meg, BD; 303 is the most matte finish.

My process includes the following
  1. cleaning the tire with OPC and a brush
  2. repeating step 1 again
  3. let the tire dry while working on other portions of the vehicle
  4. apply the product with a foam applicator
  5. use a tooth brush to be sure product is "everywhere"
  6. wait 10 - 15 minutes then wipe with a clean microfiber towel

Longest it's ever lasted is 2 weeks without rain or puddle splashing.

I recently purchased Duragloss NSD #321 and have applied it to all of my exterior plastic/rubber trim & tires.

Seems to hold up pretty well, its been about a week.

For a professional detail shop or mobile setup, meg's hyper dressing at about 4 or 5 to 1 will give a nice matte finish. It's pretty durable, but won't hold up to rain. I love the stuff and it's extremely affordable.

If you are only looking for quality for your personal vehicle or a very picky customer, some of the other guys mentioned some better products.

303 and I can buy it locally at a RV center so that's a plus...

Perl ?? I'm still testing for durability not to shiny But a very rich/ dark rubber look.
