I have had this machine in my possession around 5 months and thing just sits there collecting dust. I used it for the first couple weeks but not much any more. I really only use it for leather seats and nasty headliners. I love it for glass but I won't run my generator for 15 minutes just to heat the machine up to clean windows lol. I know a lot of people love this machine and it is a great tool but I guess I'm use to using other tools. I used to use it on carpets and seats but with my new HP60 I just use that.

Actually I'm going to drop like 5K on a big boss one here in about a month:xyxthumbs:

Timing is everything... I just bought mine about three weeks ago, I had a Reliable 630 for several year until it got hot and melted the wiring underneath... Oh well...

What do you use for the interior in lieu of the VX5000? One of the big selling points for the VX5000 (and other similar dry steamers) is it's :xyxthumbs: for cleaning the interior; some are capable of cleaning the exterior, too (the South Korean Optima Steamer comes to mind).

With this new one ill be able to turn it down to do leather and detail engines too..I'll post a link later...if I'm allowed to?

I may be calling on that optimal tomorrow...doesnt look to powerful tho.

Which Dupray do you have? The Hill Injection?

I was just looking at those earlier myself....
Hi Charlie, Yes I have the Hill Injection. If you have questions about it feel free to call me at the number with my signature, it is a personal number which only I answer.

I'm confused again...

Your selling your steamer because you hardly use it, but your buying another one to replace it?

:dunno:

Where've you been anyway Fred? I haven't seen you around in awhile. Good to see you back :)

Lol I primarily buying it to clean cars in the winter and do engines. The VX to me is to weak to seriously tackle big jobs.

How do you like you machine and which one do you have?

Damn thats one hella nice steamer. I thought the VX5000 was good enough to tackle house stuff and car detailing. But the Hill Injection looks like it can clean anything.
