It was my pleasure to shine up over 130 of the baddest cars in the world! CamaroFest 8, July 11-13, Bowling Green, KY

Bitchin' Camaro Mobile Detailing teamed up with GlossPro Detailing Shop to provide detail services for CamaroFest 8! It was a blast meeting so many great people and shining so many awesome cars!

Here are some pics to start:

man, how freaking tired and sore are you!?

Well I had a crew of 5 BUT yes it was 95 degrees and humid-no clouds, no breeze, no rain. I lost 18 pounds. Water weight. I have put 8 back on.

That must have been a profitable and rewarding weekend!

You and your crew sounds like they earned ever dollar.

Very cool.

I know it is tacky to ask, but I’m sure your prices were published all over the Fest. What were your packages offered and prices? If you feel uncomfortable posting prices I totally understand:)

Not at all. Thanks for asking!

My biggest seller was a package of: 2 bucket wash, deep wheel barrel cleaning and shine, and windshield sealant for $60.

Other big sellers were:

Basic wash was $30

1 step cleaner polish was $185

Paint correction was $350

Engine bay was $50

Quick interior (vacuum, wipedown with interior detailer, leather wipedown, odor neutralizer and glass cleaned) was $75

I will post more as soon as I can. Just got in and I am still unloading the trailer. I will post all the products I used and tons more pictures later. My partner GlossPro should be posting pics soon too. It was an amazing weekend. Corvette Z06s, Camaro ZL-1s, a Hennessey 850 HP ZL-1, washing and polishing $75-150,000 cars!

Oh wow!!! Glad you made it out without heat exhaustion.

Thanks for the prompt response!

Your prices were definitely more than fair. Your packages seem to cover all types of customer’s budgets.

$30 for a hand wash is a great deal.

What are you using for your one step cleaner polish?

How long did the average one-step AIO take on a new Camaro?

We used Meguiar's D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream until it got too hot, then we had to switch to Meguiar's D166 Ultra Polishing Wax (3x expensive) to eliminate the dusting. The D151 dusted badly in the heat, even when the panel was cool. D166 is the bomb! Green pads for the bad ones, white pads for the good ones.

For paint corrections we were using what worked on that individual car: Optimum compound, Megs 105 & 205 - just whatever knocked out the scratches and swirls. Then we just finished with the D151 or D166. Orange pads and white pads.

We were knocking out 1 steps in 90 minutes - 3 hours (we blocked 3 hr appointments) depending on interruptions and just the blazing heat. Lots of gatorade breaks.

Oh I forgot we did a lot of spot buffing of scratches for $30-60. People were thrilled that we disappeared their scratches! That was really rewarding.

I did 2 CQuartz ceramic coatings on headlights!

Wow you guys really got working hard! And what a great experience to have done. Makes an awesome marketing thing to have for your business.

The package and price listing seems very dialed in. Even if it's many options on it. It's easy to find and get what suits your need. Well done on that part.

Great work Kirk and thanks for shareing your experience at Camarofest 8!

/Tony

That is some incredible work, my man.

I love seeing pros at work. Awesome post. I always learn something from posts like this. :dblthumb2:

Have been following you on Instagram with this! I was getting tired of 'liking' all the Camaro's you were doing! Awesome of you to have had this opportunity! Very cool!

Hey Kirk,

You mentioned the products used and the color of the pads. Were they LC pads?

Thanks

Hex Logics mostly. I don't see much difference in pads. All the high quality pads work well for me.

Awesome work! Great pricing strategy too! Quick question, are these "discounted" for to the fest?
