If I like Turtle Wax Ice... Then...

I hit all the local auto-stores today to buy this... And it's a no-go! Anyone purchased this? If so, where?

This is what I was talking about personally - never tried the paste.....

Do you think they are the same product? Just in a different form?

Same Company - totally different application and removal.... the spray I used is a spray on wipe off deal..... looks like the paste is more of a traditional wax that you apply, let haze, and remove - then again I may be wrong....never used it. I think AG actually sells an Eagle one Nano - check out their store.... they may have it.

I could be searching wrong... But did not find it on the AG store. I guess I'm old-school and like paste. It's crazy with so many choices! The NANO technology sounds good; Then with carnauba too! Emailed the company... Stay tuned!

Their email reply:

Thank you for your question. The Eagle One Nano Paste Wax has been discontinued due to a lack of sales for this product. We suggest trying our newest wax named Eagle One Gel Wax. The Gel Wax is a simple wipe on/wipe off product with no drying time. The new Eagle One Gel Wax is available through most all major auto parts retail stores.

If I'm not mistaken, even the spray has since been changed (@ least its packaging has).

MY RESPONSE:
Bummer!

I read about your Gel Wax. It's still not clear to me... What I liked about the paste was the Nano technology with Carnauba. What product is the same? Thanks!

THEIR RESPONSE:
The new Eagle One Gel Wax is a Carnauba wax with the Nano technology that is 10x easier to use than a traditional paste wax ever could be.

I have the gel, and it application is relatively easy. I've only used it on silver, and can't comment on anything but its initial look and application.

Thanks for staying with me on this. I too have a Silver (Jeep) vehicle; Of which I have been applying ICE to/on. This is my daily-driven vehicle and the ICE product makes a nice shine on the paint, an even-appearance to all the trim (including black), and all surfaces bead water very nicely! Then, with too-much-time-on-my-hands... I starting reading the detailing forums and got caught-up in the hype of Carnauba-wax(s); And the hype of the new synthetic products (over/above ICE), such as the NANO product. So… Here I am now. As I said before, I am an old-school paste-Guy. But… I will be trying the Nano Gel product. Hey for $3.99… How can I go wrong! I still have to ponder the seemingly 1000’s automotive wax/wax-like products… Maybe I’m not the only one with too-much-time-on-my hands! LOL

You can be comforted that you're not the only one with a wax love affair, and that is all part of the fun, especially when the new wax you want to try is $3.99!

Let us know how you feel it compares to TW ICE.
