Went to the St Louis zoo today, beautiful day, wife spotted this first in the on-street parking and exclaimed 'major fail'. Hint: That's not dust.

They are letting it bond and cure obviously! Lol! It looks like they went to remove it and it must have been hard to so they stopped.

It's a little hard to see, but about 1/3 of the hood on the driver side was *mostly* removed. From the large swipes of wax I'd love to know what they used to apply, not a palm-sized foam applicator I don't think.

Not sure if you do detailing for a living but if you do(part/full time),should of left a business card and made a few$'s :xyxthumbs:
 
I would have been compelled to grab my towel from glove compartment and buff it off. My luck the owner of the car would catch me messing with his car. Giving me a black eye. Thus leading to an eye patch.When you have an eyepatch,people think you are tough. When people think you are tough they want to see how tough....Well Im sure most of you have seen the commercial. Im glad I didnt see that wax mess. LOL

And they say you can't distinguish different waxes on silver paint.... try telling it to that guy. Obviously whatever he is using and doing is very distinguishable.
 
What a goober. This reminds me. A while back at the gym, I saw a Corvette covered in wax like that too. What the heck? I guess he was going to let it "cure" for an hour or so while he worked out?
 
time to go to one of those high-school charity car washes and let the dawn do it's thing
