I saw in a post that Old Tiger said that if he was limited to 1 company it would be Optimum. I have to agree with him on that. They make amazing products.

I thought that was a really interesting concept. I would like to hear what others think on this one.

If you were limited to 1 company, what would it be?

I am fairly new here, but have done a bunch of reading on various posts, both recent and past. As a result of these 'investigations' and not wanting to amass a huge inventory of product; I have picked Optimum as my "go-to" vendor.

I am using DG901 wash, then Optimum for all else (sealer, oid, etc) except a Liquid Souveran spray wax topper.

I don't think one could go wrong with either Wolfgang or Pinnacle either.

For me it would be Wolfgang the TSR and Finishing glaze are excellent products the DGPS is great also. I have not tried Fuzion yet but its supposed to be another great product.

It would probably be Wolfgang or Optimum. It would be Ultima if they made polishes.

This is a really tough question because some companies offer more than others but their whole line isn't necessarily better. Now going with a big company that offers everything from soap to polishers, it's really tough to beat Meguiar's. Does that mean that every Meguiar's product is the absolute best? No, but they can provide you everything you would need.

With that being said, I will base my answer on chemicals alone and availability and that would be Duragloss at this current time. Their products work as stated, no questions asked. And they are within reach for the most part from being available at local stores and the price is attractive enough that you can grab stuff without breaking the bank.

:iagree:

Not an easy question, but simply looking over my shelf o' goodies it seems to lean towards the Wolfgang/Meguairs way.

As others have posted, if you are looking for only one company, Meg's makes everything with things ranging from above average to excellent. Hard to go wrong.

I am currently trying the Optimum products out and the two I have tried are nice. The product lines that I have used in the past could not meet my needs across the board so I believe that I will always be a mix and match kind of guy.

I vote Poorboy's. Everything I have tried so far works great, smells delicious and most importantly, costs less than most products.

I'm a Meguiars fan personally...not that i havent had good luck with other products, but for price, quality and availablity as well as consistantly improving their line...I'd have to go with them.:dblthumb2:

Wolfgang indeed , Optimum or Einszett would be other options.

Me too a Meguiars fan! :D

but I like a few Zymol products too!

Have to go Optimum... cleaners, polishes, OCW, OS (the wowa sealant), tire OptiBond, vinyl/leather protectant are very good, and they carry rinseless wash (can't do without ONR) and a great QD....all at good prices.

For me it would still be Optimum, butt I have never used Opti Seal. I would augment with Ultima as Corey suggested. Im gonna try the new Opimum Hyper Compound and polish in a week or two. New ONR is tops. I like 4 Star Spray Wax better than OCW and DP Tire Gel better than Opti Bond, but the differences are small. OPC and OPP are near the top. OID is too. Opti Clean is intriguing and on the way to me next week. Car Wash is a top fiver. Ultima is the best wash IME! Optimum is developing new products at a rapid rate for sure!

since my collection from AG has grown I rarely use megs but if I had to pick one brand, they're it.

OK, I'm going to be a brown-noser here; My choice is Autogeek.......:props:
