I'm not so sure about CarPro Eraser...

Sorry been away for a few days ... Yes I said bleaching properties and I do in fact mean it. Check my order here and I did purchase the OPC... I sprayed some on my black Dockers, went into eat dinner and noticed about an hour later it was much light than the surrounding area... Maybe not bleach but it does have a chemical properties that lightened the fabric.
Test it yourself on some old pants if you don't believe me.
And the bargain APC you say I use is MEGS APC ... You may have heard of them, better yet you may have copied their formula like you did with the MF DA pad

:nomore: Can we vote this tool off the island? (In other words, banned by popular request....)

For the record if you were using the OPC full strength, that's where you failed. APCs are meant to be diluted for a reason, and they instruct you to test an inconspicuous spot first for a reason as well. I'm guessing you failed to do both of those things.

Even cheap carpet cleaners say to check for color fastness. Removing dye is an expected result of any strong cleaner, but has NO relation to bleaching. The only color Power Clean would remove is a redye which generally is just spray paint and not permeated into the material and in the case of factory leather...coated/sealant. And, it's commonly known to rinse degreasers and detergents and not allow them to dry on surfaces/materials. A good start to good results would be to read and follow the directions for approved/intended uses.

Charlie, I'm entitled to my opinion and totally within the forum rules so if I hurt your feelings in one way or another well....
Chris it doesnt surprise me that you would come out again and attack me on this subject for the 3rd time and you are supposed to be the eyes and ears of Optimum... WOW
Any of the MOL moderators including Mike and Jason would never use that tone especially being representatives of a company that sells their products here on AGO.
And I can repost the countless raves about OPC safe at full strength on here and now it becomes an issue that it's not ...*smacking my head!
And my comment about the pad ... I efn meant it and sorry if I hurt your feelings but it's the truth! Megs has had champions testing and re testing for 5 years this pad with new technology and probably spen millions beta testing it and you guy come up with your version a few months later is really just a kick in the balls

But in the interest of staying on point here ... What part of my first post in where I said I use OPC full strength really set you off?

And Moderators, if we can give Chris @ Optimum a warning for Harrasing Forum members it would be greatly appreciated.

I think the word "bleach" is not technically correct. It is usually associated with the use of sodium hypochlorite (something OPC does not have) but the word has expanded with bleach free products (color fast bleach) using Hydrogen Peroxide.

I am sure Optimum does not want anyone going away with the impression about sodium hypochlorite in its products.

I for one have put my formally favorite Meguiars APC+ on the shelf in favor of Optimums Power Clean. Time after time OPC has out performed APC+ on the task I have used it for and never had a problem. I think with any product when you apply said product for a use outside of its intended purpose you are on your own.Instructions are on the container for a reason. We are all probably guilty of expecting results beyond what the product was originally made to do. Thats why a test spot should always be the first action an any given project.
Another thing we should all keep in mind is we are all entitled to our own opinions but not our own facts.
