IME, M105 reacts different on different paint systems...

The baby oil(mineral oil) actually helps cut down the dusting by a lot. You can basically work M105 forever and get very little to no dust and removal will be like M205. I easily get over 10 passes without it even drying out. Give it a try. I know you're going to love it. ;)

Put some baby oil in a small travel size spritzer bottle and use two sprays to prime the pad and afterwards 1 spray for every 3-4 new sections. As always, constantly clean the pad on the fly.
Interesting. Will mineral oil lower the cut of M105?

M105 will never be something I eliminate from my arsenal. :dblthumb2:

That's definitely how I feel as well.

In fact, I have to admit that even though I believe in using the least aggressive product to get the job done, a lot of times I will just look at the paint and if it has a decent amount of swirls in it, I don't mess around with trying other polishes, I just go straight to the M105. I will start with a tangerine Hydro Tech pad, and go to the Cyan if needed.

That makes 2 of us. :xyxthumbs: I'm still working on my technique, but M105 has the potential to finish very nicely!

There hasn't been any noticeable lost of cutting power but you have to use it very sparingly (very similar to Gloss-it EVP Prime.) If you use too much the oil would just suspend the compound/polish and the polisher would basically be hydroplaning on the surface.

Hey 07 Z oh 6,
I have an 06 Z oh 6 (red)
How do you like the M105 for your front bumper? Or is there something better?
I have heard the clear coat on the panels is really hard and the 105 works well.
I'm waiting for a little time to take some car wash scratches out of mine. (previous owner) I'm a little nervous that it may be too aggressive for the soft bumpers?
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Al

He Al, nice ride! :props:

The front and rear bumper should get the same clear as the rest of the car. It still seems hard to me. M105 should be perfectly fine. :dblthumb2:
