You can't use IronX on chrome, but you can use Sonax. For wheels, Sonax > IronX
No, Iron X is not safe for chrome. Sonax is safe for chrome.umm Iron X is safe on chrome.
No problem to use ironx or ironx soap gel on clear bra! it wont affect the film.
normally you wont have problems with calipers also, only if they are aftermarket painted with acrylic paint.
if still you want to be careful, just use it more delicatly near the calipers , or use detailing brush near them
also, some asked me about Anodized wheels.. no problem to use ironX on these as well. !!
question. Since AG still has the 15% off everything sale going on I was thinking about purchasing the whole CarPro line but something is bothering me about Iron X. I can see the benefit to using it on a daily driver however
"Note: Iron X should not be used on chrome, bare metal parts, brake calipers, wheel balancing weights, or SMART paint repairs. Mask off these areas. Avoid letting Iron X dry on any surface."
My cars roof area right above the door has a full chrome lining instead of rubber. How bad would it be if Iron X was accidentally sprayed in that area?
No problem now to use it on any chromes panels !
just dont let it dry under sunshine
same thing no problem with clear bra or anodized wheels.
AG should update there info about ironx on there site.
