What is the best dual action polisher on the market, excluding Flex, and why?

Griots Garage
PC7424XP
Shurhold
Meguiars G110v2
 
G110V2 by all means!:props:

Plenty of power, easy to handle, relatively quiet unlike PC. Reliable, easy maintenance (Change brushes in 2 minutes)
 
I am thinking about purchasing the MegsV2 or the Shurhold. I have the PCXP, the new GG, and the G110.
 
I have owned the PC 7424 for over 3 years (not XP ) never had a single issue with it ( breaking down) but I mainly use the Makita for correction

New G110V2 is nothing like old unit. Cruise control will keep constant speed no matter what the load or pressure is.

Porter Cable 7424XP. It stands up to heavy pressure and high speeds(my pads don't), easy to use, does the work I need it to.

It may be louder and vibrate more than the others, but I still love it.
 
Im not really getting the answers Im looking for so let me ask the question in a different way:

I own 2 GG, a PCXP, a Megs G110, and a Flex 3401.

I am thinking of either buying the Megs G110v2 or the Shurhold.

Does anyone have any experience with either of those two?

For those who do have experience with either one of those two (G110v2 and Shurhold), will I be disappointed if I purchase either one of those?
 
I believe the Shurhold is very similar to the GG and maybe the same manufacturer.

Why are you adding more DAs... just curious
 
Garry have you checked the specs on both. I thought the G110v2 has more power.

I can't really talk about either because I don't own either but as far as power goes I can say this: I have the Flex 3401 and an old PC (not XP) and while I use both the extra power that the Flex has is great to have for corrections. When I need to add pressure I don't have the pad slow or stop rotating. I know force rotation is a big reason but even the new XPs can handle more pressure than my old one

I stay insanely busy and my others see a ton of use. I just dont ever want to need a da and get stuck with a dead one.
 
You must own a modified PC.

The G100v2 and the new generation Griots were released at about the same time. Being a tool junkie I bought both for myself for Christmas that year. I like both but for different reasons. The griots as most owners are aware of , has all the power and torque you can ask for. It's build quality seems a step below that of the G100v2.The 1 yr warranty is also a plus you are already aware of. As for the G100v2 it is silky smooth and has enough power to handle the task at hand. The shape gives a different feel holding it while using compared to the GG and PC IMO. It may be just me but it has the feel of a quality built machine. Just a old tool junkies 2 cent.
 
I'd go with the G110v2.

Good power, good quality. A bit bulky, though.

I would have said the GG6, but the quality control has been very inconsistent, IME. Some run strong, some run weak.

According to the specs, the Shurhold has less power than the PCXP.
 
If I were to choose a D/A all over again, I'd go with the Meguiar's G110V2 (exclude 3401 right?). Even though it has a 1 year warranty, the build quality seems to be a lot better than the GG6. The motor is also adequately powered and it seems to have good correction capability. It just seems solidly built. The only issues they have are cord related so there's nothing major to worry about. I think they also have that issue resolved.

I can't speak for the PCXP or the Shurhold buffers. However, the shurhold and GG6 seems awfully similar.

Im new to DAs and only own one. After about month and half of research I bought Griots. Im so content and happy with it. Effortless and great to work with
