They will hold them for you and you can pay online or in the store when you pick them up

You are right! I bought one of these last week and it really blows! The only caveat is it is LOUD. I recommend wearing hearing protection. That's what I do and worth it.

Is this blower really worth getting into blow drying cars with? My local sears has 5 so I can run down and get it and be back in 10 minutes, but I am worried would I really use it? It says it blows at 180MPH, but can you really dry a car that way, or does the speed die down really fast, or spread out so wide it doesn't work?

Thanks

Only problem is I might end up spending more on gas than it's worth. A 3 hour drive to save $30, a tank of gas could cost as much.

I can't speak to drying cars. I use mine on wheels and tires and it dries one in less than a minute. I think it would be great for the engine bay as well. I use a 10' extension cord and it works great for me. Remember I said it is loud. YMMV

I always try to sheet the water as much as possible, use a drying towel or two, then use the blower to get the mirrors, doors, trim, and anywhere else that water hides. I follow that with DG aquawax, and in the process it dries the car entirely. Not sure if it is the right way, but that's how I find myself doing on mine and my wife's car.

No doubt about it on the wheels though, No matter how clean you get them, I'm not touching one of my expensive drying towels to them!

This seems like a good way to store a polisher and other supplies. Good deal too: husky 3 bag set

The speed won't die down as it uses a power cord, not a battery. Although newer batteries tend to give full power until they just stop.

Picked one up. Cheapest I've seen for a new leaf blower with a good name.

I've heard a lot of people on here use them and being 9 amp it should work just fine. I'm assuming also since other use it it won't spread too much with having such a narrow tip. It's also electric so it won't die down.

I drove to a sears 40 minutes away, 30 miles. I get 36 mpg but I'd spend up to $20 in gas for it and get it for $30 if I wanted to drive somewhere. Otherwise they sell for $40 msrp.

I picked mine up yesterday for anyone who wants to know. Two pieces, the blower and the hose attachment. The hose slides on and has a sping loaded push lock button system to keep it on. Pretty standard. The blower is a heavy duty plasticy rubber material. Feel solid. Pretty small overall and not too heavy like another one I have. Should be good as long as it blows, especially for the $10-$20 (gas).

Otherwise if it doesn't I'll just put it on craigslist or use it to guick sweep the driveway or garage.

I guess if I bought a few of them it would make it more worth the cost but reselling a $10 blower might be tough. I wouldn't mind going for the next model up at $40.

Win some lose some, missed out on the brinkmann light too.

I get a lot of cheap applicators and towels from Ollies for trim and tires etc. And I found really nice boars hair (probably synthetic but still nice) brushes for cleaning wheels, engines and interiors in the arts and crafts department at Walmart.

The Sears website is saying that leaf blower is currently unavailable now. First it said it was $30, now unavailable. I was going to pick it up yesterday but they were closed due to weather.

Keep an eye to the clearance/garden section at Home Depot. I have seen a battery powered one for $45 and I got my "weed eater" brand for $18.88. The box looked ancient and I asked the manager if he would take $10. No problem!

This has been a year or so but I frequently see them clearances out. Especially now that they're bringing in spring/2014 models
