An employee at HD stopped me yesterday to ask if I was finding everything alright; when I told her I was cleaning out her inventory on the bags, she asked if I heard about them online... She said they were flying out the door because of the obvious value. She also mentioned that I could have placed the order online for in-store pickup at my convenience. She said, don't hop in the car immediately to come grab something that was ordered online. She said that if the stock levels were off due to shrinkage (theft), etc. that the customer service reps would call to advise.
Why didn't I think of that?? Additionally, I could have saved an additional 10% by purchasing through the Discover Card website because HD is one of the ShopDiscover partners!!
