Incredibly Cheap Finds

was at target tonight and they had the "meguiar's complete car kit"..

megs gold class car wash (16oz), ultimate black trim sponges, perfect clarity glass cleaner, quik interior detailer, ultimate quik wax, hot shine tire foam and car wash sponge. all the products were full size except for the car wash. price was $19.99+ tax...
 
Harbor freight trip today.
8 pack of Terry cloth covered foam applicator pads for $3 not sure how I'll use them but I will find a way :-)

Also a 6 inch sanding board $4 works like a polishing pal. Fits the 5.5 inch pads for hand use for wax etc

I was wrong, Target is doing their car care clearance. Mileage may vary since prices are different from store to store.
(Target's in-house microfiber not included since their wax removal towel is rough enough to scrub baked-on food off pots & pans)

I picked up a few clay kits at target last year for 2 bucks each, bought all they had. Check multiple targets if you're not successful at first

That's amazing! I got them for $8 last year, but they had a lot more in stock when they were $13 last week, so I bought them while I still can at $9.48.
 
While not cheap but still a great deal, Home Depot has a new compact shop vac with a detachable blower for $79. As you all know, that blower can help dry the car (less touches the better) and get that water out of crevices. I believe the model is Rigid 4080.

Found these items marked down at my neighborhood Target as well. But, darn, not at those prices.
The Quik Wax was $7.90 while the Kit was $16.08.

Mileage did vary. lol

I should have mentioned they don't always have up-to-date prices on clearance items. Take the items over to one of the price scanners, and you might find the prices are lower.

Thanks for the info on this picked up the snap on this last weekend. I got the Thanksgiving weekend flyer for Costco. From 28 - 30 November the Duracell is $15.99 which is $4.00 off so I will wait until then and pick up a few.

Sweet! Thanks to you I checked my local Target and picked up a bottle of Ultimate Quik Wax tonight for $4.08 before tax. The price scanner tip was perfect since the bottles hadn't been marked down yet :dblthumb2:

Make sure you do! I checked another Target on the way into work this morning and they also had Quik Wax marked down to $4.08. However I got an ear full from a guy who tried telling me that carbauna wax was the only thing worth using and Quik Wax was crap since it didn't contain any... I just smiled and said "uh huh"... it was too early to try and educate the guy otherwise...
 
Bummed, neither location near me has them on clearance. Going to check another location on Saturday/Sunday when I get time to make a short drive.
 
Picked up a bottle of UQW for 2.08. Might go back and get a couple more. Also picked up one of their MF Noodle mitts for the same price. I've used them before and found them to be quite nice.
 
My closest US location had a very slim selection, and price scans revealed nothing special. Boo.

I don't go to the local store because the traffic and parking situations suck hard.

Yeah..I have a half gallon of 156 left, but I think I need to go get a few more. It's probably the product I use the most.
