Incredibly Cheap Finds

Just grabbed a Montana Boars Hair 10in brush in the cyber deals along with 25 percent off. Had to pull the trigger on this sucker. I've never used boars hair before. I hope it serves me well

Think I spent like 46 bucks for it

You can get those Meg towels in a 20 pack for $30 normal price at Wally World. I think I have to go hit up the 99 Cent store to see if they have any. I want to try a few of them out.

I picked up a 30 pack of MF towels at Cosco for $16. don't waste your money. They shed lint really bad, not even suitable for interior or wheel cleaning.

they do lint a lot out of the bag, but i always wash my mf's first before use. IME, these costco kirkland mf towels have worked well for me, a lot better than the sams club proforce bulk mf towels...

I really like my Costco ones. Like you I washed them first and have no problems with them. I don't use them on paint, but wheels, wheel wells, interior, exhaust and when they are dirty throw them away.

Why would you throw them away when they're dirty...or do you mean REAL dirty?

I got one of these last year at about the same price without the pole so I added a $20 heavy duty paint pole from HD and it's great. I love it

Works great on my wife's car and my company car but NOT good on my truck tires, not sure why. But I picked up a couple using Amazon link - thanks for the tip.

I've run into what could be an issue with applying the TW tire coating when its less than 60 degrees. The directions say 55-85. Its either this or my new winter tires have rubber so soft that its absorbing the coating first and then hopefully letting it do its thing:rolleyes:

I have re-cleaned and re-applied the coating once again, round #2 tests coming soon and will be posted in the thread!

Really dirty, not after one use. I use the exhaust one till it is black, never wash it and toss.

some people like to use mf towels without washing them first but i'm not one of those people. you never know what debris/contamination is on them and they will most likely lint on their first use before washing. wash them first and have the peace of mind when using them (especially on the paint) that they are clean...
