The owner requested a basic exterior detail - he was interested in a clean-up and protection. I advised him that for a very reasonable extra charge, I could add a light paint correction and a paint coating that would provide 12-18 months of protection. Like any rational person, he agreed once he understood the potential time savings (in maintenance) and the significant improvement in appearance (I did a 50/50 on a fender during check-in).

During the correction process, I discovered that parts of the roof measured in the 50-micron range and most of it was in the 70s. I advised the customer that no significant correction would be done on the roof, and in exchange, I compounded the hood and trunklid at no charge.

Wash: Meguiars D110
Clay: Meguiars C2000 w/ONR
Compound: M100/Lake Country PFW/PE-14
Polishing: Optimum Hyper Polish/Rupes Yellow Pad/LHR21ES
LSP: C.A.R. Products Bullet Proof Paint Coating, C.A.R. Products Topper (applied the following day for protection during curing)

Happy Detailing!

Looks sweet! How much of that Bullet Proof did you use on it?
