Interested in Selling/Installing Clear Bra's

I installed the X-Pel headlight protection film on my 2005 Accord in March 2005. There has been absolutely no yellowing, hazing or cloudiness develop on the headlights. My guess is the protection film prevents further issues with the headlights.

from my experience....no one install just the headlight....if you install, you got to install the front kit and charge extra for headlight and pillar....I charge an extra $100 for headlight and $150 for pillar kit. Do Not GET EXPEL....DO NOT GET EXPEL...They are a ripped off....Go buy you a roll and go to some who got a plotter and plot it out....I have 4 software for this....I paid 2g a year for it....3m usa, 3m china, ventureshiled, and venturepattern.

Many of the PPF manufacturers require certification - There has need been alot of poor installs and many installers do not know how to install kits properly - Tight fitments, adhesive defects etc. and many folks are seeing the profits and want to get on board. This gives the market a poor wrap (no pun intended) and for a market with less than 2% penetration it is critical their are Professional installers. So the certification process helps control this some what plus there is $ to be made by the manufacturers. Also, most importantly the Certs allow the installer to offer a manufacturer warranty. ( example: You can not install a 3M material kit on Ebay and have a warranty unless a certified installer completes the paperwork for the customer.) This is not to say by any means that non certified installers can not install a kit which is high quality workmanship.

Also 3M offers a 5 year warranty - install, removal labor and materials are included. Same for XPEL however they offer 7 years. and Nano offers lifetime.

Ventureshield offers 5 years - material only and does not cover yellowing.

Also you CAN NOT purchase a full roll of 3M film unless you are certified - each certified installer has to purchase their rolls from a specific distributor. I guess there are always ways around this however if your are in business this workaround may not last long.

I am certfied with XPEL, Nano (Avery Dennison), 3M, Ventureshield and Defendzall. We use XPEL, Proform, Ventureshield and DD patterns. Hope this helps.

I am a certified installer for VentureShield and never was ask if I was certified.....Trust me on this.....Being certified do not mean anything....some ppl are certified and can't installed....and i have to fix it.....It take alot of experience and years of installing different vehicle to be good....It do not take a certificate....a certificate do not mean anything....I promise....also..no matter what film you used....after 1 yr of being in texas sun...they all turn a little yellow...I install 3m, venture shield, and avery......3m own ventureshield now....I switch to ventureshield because they said it won't yellow....It does yellow but very lightly compare to 3m....I believe I am the best installer in Texas...look at all the vehicle I have coming to my carwash....South Beach Auto Spa
