Interior "wipedown"?

For a wipedown, I don't use a product with zero cleaning ability= 303. 303 is way to shiny, IMO. I use Meguiars QID or Sonax Dashboard cleaner for a wipedown. All have light cleaning ability and leave a matte finish.

Didnt meguiars have one from their detailer line? Is that what you guys use or another one?

Actually the stuff in the Detailer line is identical to the consumer line product, just packaged in gallons instead of 16oz. containers. Once I run out of the small bottles I've hoarded, I'll just buy a gallon jug and refill the 16oz.

Does AG sell the gallon of it?

If the surfaces are basically clean, just some dust, and they were done with protectant before, then no need for cleaner, just wipe with damp mf cloth. Or APC diuted about 200:1.

I take it you guys are talking about when the car's interior is not very messy at all? It seems most of the products mentioned are pretty light cleaners.

When you guys say you use 303, what spesific product are you referring to?

Megs QID will actually clean up a pretty nasty interior. same goes for the 1z cockpit. You can pull up a significant amount of oil and grim for parts like the steering wheel and cupholders. Very rarely have I had to step up in cleaning power. That is unless the interior is neglected to the point of me not wanting to clean it anyway. lol :)

I for sure would not use a protectant to wipe down the interior (303). Even if the interior looks clean the main problem is the invisible oil's and salts from you skin and sweat. as well as residual dirt from your pants and whatever else.

I seal it up with UIGP then use Megs QID for wipe downs.

Ive got some UIGP on the way to me. Have you ever tried using the Ultima detail spray plus (like suggested in there add) to wipedown the seats for maintenance ?

If so, will the detail spray leave a slippery surface ? I would like to avoid adding slickness to the leather seats is possible.

TIA.
