Hey guys, damn happy to find this place. For some dumb reason I never looked online for answers to many of the tuff questions I have about detailing my car. I am not a newbie to automotive detailing but I am also not a professional. I plan to change that using a lot of the info on this site. In fact a just placed my first order from AutoGeek a few days ago!

I ordered Griot's new DA Polisher, many Lake Country pads, some Pinnacle Souveran products, and Cobra microfiber cloths. I am about to start fixing the paint on my, new to me, '06 Acura TSX. The previous owner did not do a great job of looking after the paint, lots of swirls and even a strip on an edge of the rear bumper that was burned through . . . really sucks!! I am sure I will be posting some questions about that one.

I just sold my old '98 Accord Coupe. Man I loved that car, but she has done her time. Like many of the Accords of that year the paint job completely failed, partially due to the manufacturer and probably also due to my incessant polishing and buffing. I posted some pictures below.

Glad to be here, and chat with you soon!

Well damn, I like this. There are a lot of active members from the Raleigh area. It is too bad automotive detailing is such a "one man show" type of hobby (or business). Otherwise we would get together for some sort of Detail Party.

There is a group that has gotten together. There was dinner event about 2 weeks ago but I could not attend.

A bunch of enthusiasts here on the coast get together in the summer and have some cruise ins and hang out or meet up at some ones house and hang out, most of us drive muscle cars and attend car shows together, anything like that in your area? We are always looking for a good spot to go and see some cars that we do not see all the time.

Welcome to AutogeekOnline. I was just in Raleigh NC a few weeks ago. Nice place.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys.

Agpatel, I think you better let me hone my techniques on my own car before I touch that vdub of yours, especially with that new polisher I ordered.

Hey, have any of you Raleigh guys tried any of the Majestic Solutions products?
