Hey guys, damn happy to find this place. For some dumb reason I never looked online for answers to many of the tuff questions I have about detailing my car. I am not a newbie to automotive detailing but I am also not a professional. I plan to change that using a lot of the info on this site. In fact a just placed my first order from AutoGeek a few days ago!
I ordered Griot's new DA Polisher, many Lake Country pads, some Pinnacle Souveran products, and Cobra microfiber cloths. I am about to start fixing the paint on my, new to me, '06 Acura TSX. The previous owner did not do a great job of looking after the paint, lots of swirls and even a strip on an edge of the rear bumper that was burned through . . . really sucks!!
I am sure I will be posting some questions about that one.
I just sold my old '98 Accord Coupe. Man I loved that car, but she has done her time. Like many of the Accords of that year the paint job completely failed, partially due to the manufacturer and probably also due to my incessant polishing and buffing. I posted some pictures below.
Glad to be here, and chat with you soon!
