Introducing!! Pinnacle black label!!!

Am I reading something wrong or... ? (Bolding is mine).

Post #129 from this thread:
DP Paint Coating contains polymers, while Black Label Diamond Coating does not. The extra cost gets you a coating that is easier to apply, lasts longer, and produces more gloss (think "glassy" type of finish). Whether it is worth the additional $30 is up to you.

Post #21 from this thread:
It has all the qualifications of the Pinnacle name, but it's an entirely new line that utilizes ingredients never seen in a Pinnacle product - nano-glass ceramic particles, resin-based polymers, etc.

If I'm not mistaken the resin-based polymers only apply to the sealant and not the coatings. At least that's what the selant's product descrition says.

Resin-based polymers was in reference to Diamond Paint Sealant.

Got it. As I read though I saw the posts and thought they were conflicting... I wasn't paying as much attention to the specific product(s) discussed as I was the line in general. Thanks for the clarification :xyxthumbs:

I have used Pinnacle Natural Brilliance products for a number of years and have been very pleased, so when they came up with the Black Label products, I was quite interested. I purchased the Black Label paint coating, cleaning polish, and paint sealant. I understand a carnauba wax can be used with these products, but I have a bigger problem. I recently bought Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection and Total Polish and Seal as well as the carnauba wax. Is there a way I can make use of the Blackfire products in combination with Black Label. For example, I had in mind using the Black Label products one time and several months later using the Blackfire products. Since I just purchased the Blackfire products a few months ago, I would like to come up with a plan where I might use them as well as the Black Label products, otherwise, I have gone "overboard."

Also, I have the DP Foam Gun with 128 oz. of soap. Can this product work with the Black Label products?

Hello!

You can use Total Polish N Seal to remove light imperfections (it is an abrasive AIO), and then follow it with Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish to remove the sealant that Total Polish N Seal leaves behind.

You can top the coating with Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection for added shine and protection.

All soaps are compatible with Black Label coatings, but none are going to boost the coating like Diamond Coating Shampoo will.

A little more on applying a wax (or other favorite LSP) over the diamond paint coating...is it recommended or only personal preference to achieve a certian appearance? Won't applying anything over the Black Label coating then give you the surface characteristics (appearance, beading qualities, etc) of that product?

I guess you still retain the protection, durability, qualities of the coating underneath your favorite LSP/wax, correct?

Just thinking outloud here, since paint coatings are the current "final frontier" when it comes to LSP's, why would you need/want to top a paint coating. I know it was just posted about giving your car a certain look with the "topper" over the paint coatings but from what I've read the PC makes the paint look incredible AND last for years.

I don't think I could handle going "years" without polishing or something on my vehicles. Even if the coating was the end-all be-all to my satisfaction, I'd probalby repolish seasonally anyways to revibe the perfect finish and reapply. A waste?? Mabye. But like I said. wouldn't be able to handle it, LOL

I was just asking about the wax/LSP on top of the coating because it came up in this thread and they even have a Black Label Paint Sealant...when would you use that if not over top the coating? And what are the results of the Black Label Paint Sealant?

Paint sealant over the top of a paint coating seems like it would be ok over say a harsh winter just to give it a "boost", maybe not needed but let's hear what the experts have to say about this.

Is it too small for Black Label Surece Cleaning Polish 8 oz if it's for big SUV?

According to Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish , in the description, within number 4 "For machine application, use a foam polishing or finishing pad.". I'm afraid of not enough quantity for 1 SUV polish with machine application. Could you please answer this?

An 8 ounce bottle is more than enough for a full size SUV. You don't have to use a ton of product.

Is there a temperature range for applying the coatings?

I would recommend 60-90 degrees.

Detailer's Coating Prep Polish and BL Cleansing Polish, what is different between two? Most of review overhere did use DB Prep. It's very cost effective.

After coating, how about I add more layer like blackfire overfire kit? I have silver palladium metallic color. What is your suggestion?

Pls, it's winter time now. I think I will see snow next week. How shipping within these liquids? Do I need to wait next summer to order?

Nick pls help :)

I'm not Nick but ill make a suggestion anyway :D

If you're in an area that gets hit with winter, such as snow and low temps, I'd wait until after winter now. Its just not ideal temps or conditions to apply products. Unless you have a heated garage.

Thx. I have heated garage. just don't know if shipping damages the content or not.

I intend to buy it now because of the deal :)

I do hesitate because of many questions LOL

Absolutely no reason to worry about product damage during shipping. That is extremely rare and if it were to happen, the excellent people at AG will take care of you.

Many questions? Ask away! Many people here willing to help. You can also call AG customer service, they really are great people.

Saw the full line of Black Label at today's SEMA show in the AutoGeek booth. Great stuff!!!
