IPhone 4 or Android (Verizon) Opinions Please

I'm waiting to see whatsup with the iphone 5 before I decide to get the 4. There's a lot of talk about it coming out in June. If that's the case...I'll wait.

Been doing some research on that too. I have read many rumored reports that are saying an ETA in fall or even 2012. Plus, since I am in WI, 4G LTE isnt on the books anytime soon. So I figured why wait.

I just switched from a Sprint EVO(android based) to the Verizon iPhone 4. I EASILY like the iPhone better!

IPhone 5 just got a pretty big push back on the release date. Wouldn't wait too long for it.

I'm anti apple, and a android fanboy...I admit.

I've been in the tech industry for about 15 years, so I have my reasons that I wont go into.

If you're a tech geek, that likes TOTAL control over your device, AND have a respect for opensource material......There is nothing other than android.....and as far as the UI....I honestly have no idea (my opinion) how anyone could possibly think the iphone ui looks/acts better....You can alter any android phone to look almost exactly like the iphone......but there's a reason you dont see that very often, lol.

If you like simple, click this, tap that, sort of cookie cutter types of machines.....Iphone is what you want. In fact, i'd love to get my wife an Iphone if they werent made by Apple.

I'm just blown away that the iphone4 doesnt have a hotspot feature without jailbreaking it....hope im wrong about this, but I havent been able to find any other options (granted, I dont really care enough to look very hard)

The android platform is def. not easy to maneuver if you're not a tech geek of some sort, but that's sort of the point. It can be simple enough for the 14 year old girls to post FB messages(just ignore all the other options), or complex enough to write your own android(and Iphone) apps while you're at school, or whatever.

Good luck with your choice! and DO NOT go with Tmobile if you decide against the Iphone since they will probably be changing to AT&T within the next year or two........and I'd rather be shot in the foot than be under them.

IPhone are a waste of money to me is played out! :) Verizon is the worst company I ever had they are greedy.
I have an Evo with sprint and is great. I also use an app to check AG out.:)

Navigator is better than any other phone I ever had.

Comes with a 4gb memory which is where I store my music.:)

Screen is a little bigger than the iPhone. Mine is not black or white is carbon fiber.:)

some things I like with the I . I can talk to text or email . have FaceTime which is video calling. can use I as a modem and wi-fi hot spot as a remote for many things . start my truck and security system. iPod of course. I think it can be used as a webcam too . so much u can do with an IPhone .

I have a Sprint Evo (Android OS) I can do all of the Above and I don't have to hack the Phone to do them. I'm also an IT guy and I use both the Windows and Mac OS. It all comes down to personal preference. I too have my reasons why I'm not a fan of the Apple OS. Basically I don't like to be controlled. But I won't get into that here. But if you are an average user you will be fine with either .

How is the screen outside on the Iphone? My current (regular touch screen phone) phone is awful. Any kind of sun out and I cannot see anything on the screen.

I am in the same boat and trying to decide whether or not I want an Iphone.
