I'm trying to cut down on the number of products I'm using. I was using Meguiars Wheel and Tire Cleaner and I liked it a lot. For some reason I decided to try P21S again (I was pretty unimpressed the first time) and again, I found there's just not enough reason for me to buy it. I'm wondering if I can safely use Optimum Power Clean to clean my wheels and tires without damage to the wheels?

Sure is

Yep, and it works as well as MANY dedicated wheel cleaners!

I've used it on:

Paint, wheels, tires, plastic, rubber, vinyl, leather, cloth, foam pads, microfiber towels, and in many more places than I can even remember! I may even try it in my kids baths! Lol! :-)

Yup, never had an issue. It does get expensive if you use a fair amount of product. I prefer it for the troublesome tires.

What ratio are you guys using OPC on your wheels and tires? Since my wheels are sealed, I rarely ever use anything other than car shampoo to clean them, but I definitely use APC on the tires every wash. Would I risk any damage to clear coated wheel if I used OPC mixed at 1:2 for cleaning the tires? I'm recently switched over from a different APC to OPC, which is why I'm asking about the ratios most commonly used.

I've used OPC straight on dirty wheels without any issues. You just want to be sure that the wheels aren't hot and that you don't let the cleaner dry on the wheels. Sometimes, I mix a few ounces of OPC with CG citrus wash clear in my foam cannon to prep paint for correction to strip off any remaining LSP. I even tried OPC mixed 12:1 on my stainless appliances today and it worked great! Took off every fingerprint and left no streaks at all!
