I got this sample a while ago and have used it once. I only used it once (There is plenty left for 1 or 2 cars) because it is so difficult to apply and get out of the sample tube.

People give it some pretty descent reviews and I want to give it a fair shake. In my time using it, it wasnt very user friendly in regards to application and part of it was due to the consistancy of it.

Take a look at the pics and tell me if that is what yours look like please

Thanks guys,

Well, mine doesn't look like that. When I ordered my first bottle that's what it looked like, but I didn't know any better so I thought nothing of it. Then I bought a bottle for someone else and it looked more like what I expected. I called Dwayne at AG and told him about it and he sent me a new bottle. I'd call AG.

Mine doesn't look like that either......mines almost like liquid wax......nice and thin .........a little goes along ways.

I would say somethings wrong with that.

Mine is thick almost like a cream??? Hope it is right.

Mine is like a cream too but it flows rather easily out of the bottle, unlike a cream!(and it smells great :D)

Just a little bit of it on the applicator pad is enough.

My sample looks exactly like that also. Chunky or fluffy consistency. Not creamy or liquid at all no matter how much I shake it up. Having nothing to compare it to, I was not sure if it was bad or if that's the way it is supposed to be. I have not tried my sample, yet.

:iagree:I have two bottles

Wow. That kinda scares me to order now seeing as so many people have so many different quality level of products.

I just got a bottle of it yesterday and it does not look like that! My sample is gray and creamy. Easy out.

Interresting! Thanks guys for all the responses. It sounds like some have a more liquidy heavy cream while others have a fluffy thick consistancy. I have read it has a really nice durability and it would be great for some daily drivers I do or some production cars because of the price.

How does the durability hold up agains Power Lock? Anyone know?

Thanks again

Jon

I have some products that look like that over time. The liquid ingredients seperate. Usually a very good shaking (around 2-3 minutes) puts it all back together. Perhaps this sample didnt get the all the "juices" in it. I did find it a bit thicker than the original DP Shine Shield however but likely due to the makeup.

It is rather durable and glossy. I got both that and Powerlock the same time and found both to be similar, glossy and durable. I removed both before they died out. Powerlock did buff off a tad easier.

Mine certainly doesn't look like that. And I never had a problem applying it. Went on and off extremely easy.

Def call up AG.

:iagree:

Creamy and smooth much like a liquid wax. I always shake products to ensure their mixed properly.

Note:

I've seen this many times with products if it freezes........

HMMMMMM....Mine is basically unshakeable! (for lack of a better term)

hmm interresting. Well I have had the sample for a while but I never let my products freeze. I keep them in the garage but it is attached to the house and it never really gets below 40deg in there even in winter. It might just be a bad sample and like Scott said, maybe it didnt get all the "juices".

Its only a sample so I dont want to call AG about a sample, I think in my next order I will have one thrown in again so I can give it another go.

I really want to give this product a fair shake and maybe pick it up next time it is on BOGO if its worth it

Ya my sample is "unshakable" as well. I spent 5+ min shaking it and it did nothing. I think it might be lacking some oils or whatever goes into it.

My best guess would be that the product has separated before being put into the sample bottle and it is just lacking some essential ingredients. That is a total guess though

Agreed, No amount of shaking smooths out the consistency of mine either.
