I typically use the Zaino Z-CS WOWA product and like it a lot for a sealant and trim coating. I thought I would try the Migliore Cima sealant.

Have tried it on three different cars now and it still appears to streak, smudge, and leave residue.

The cars have been a 2007 Mercedes E class with white paint. 92 Mustang 5.0 with metallic blue paint and a 2011 Chev. Malibu with the metallic blue paint also. All three clear-coats were treated with M300D with a yellow pad, Menzerna SF4500 with orange, and then for heck of it Car Guys Black light with a black pad. (The cars were washed at this point) I wanted to seal it, then top two of them off with a carnuba wax but had issues with the CIMA. Letting it sit there for a time still made no difference.

I then tried a dry microfiber, to attempt to buff it off, but that only slightly diminished the streaking. (it almost looked like staining). All cars had sat in a garage for several hours and were cool and the outside temps varied between 65 and 85F. Directions were followed, by , lightly coating a microfiber pad, then one to two sprays on the panel, then spread it smoothly covering all paint. Then all the issues started to take place. I did the rest of the cars with the Z-CS. ---- The only way on the panel's done, to correct it, was to apply a carnuba on top, then the streaking went away.

I am quite surprised at the results, and did expect a similar result to the Zaino product. Does anyone have any types of suggestions of what I am doing wrong, if anything. (I also tried a spray detailer, to get rid of the streaks and that didn't help)

Thanks for any help!!!

With all the great sealants out there..what made you try this rather unknown sealant?

Same thing happened to me on black paint with GTechniq C2v3. Smears and won't wipe off.

Prima Hydro MAX is awesome!!

It is awesome and works very well with no streaking issues on black :xyxthumbs:

I have used the Mig. Frutta and liked it well enough to try another product from their line. I was needing to grab another bottle of WOWa sealant so thought I would try that one. Not again for sure.

I did on the Merc but not the Mustang. (Same effect, on both, but maybe the oils in the previous apps would explain it but....)---The Malibu I actually used it directly after claying and washing the vehicle to give the customer a before correction choice. So that doesn't help.

I just traded this product to another forum member for the BF Wowa product. I have for sure heard good results from that, and it will be nice to try it out. IPA wipedown for sure.

Thanks members for the advice, and help figuring this out. It is appreciated.
