I emailed Migliore and they told me Naturale has no gloss enhancers. They said they're coming out with a gloss enhancing shampoo this year.

I should have told u it didn't :doh: . You got much better confirmation tho. I'l be interested to see the price point of the gloss enhancing shampoo. You will be very pleased with your new purchase after you curse the week of overtime it takes to afford it!

I've used Ultima Paint Guard and I really liked it. So far it's probably my favorite.

I really want to try Dodo and Optimum next. I spent most of 2011 trying different washes I still have a few to try that I bought and samples that were sent to me. I think trying different car washes is fun. Some are very similar but there are some others that are clearly different.

I have one that says to use 1 oz per gallon. Can you imagine using that much for each wash? I think it has to be a typo on the label but I haven't confirmed.

It's true, many of those cheap looking shampoos and even some good ones are 1 oz per gallon.

But after using UPGW so often it always seems weird to me as well when I use another shampoo that requires so much and it takes a good chunk of the bottle for one car wash. It confuses the price for people that don't think about it. They think they are getting a deal.

UPGW is approximately 0.50$ per bucket or 0.25$ per bucket in my case. I stocked up on bogo.

Your correct, I went and checked and I've got a couple that are the same. The ones I've used lately were not like that. 1oz per gallon seems like a lot regardless. That gallon will be used pretty quick like that. 4oz per wash adds up quick. That's only 32 washes out of a gallon and if you wash only one car weekly it will only last 8 months. I have 3 cars to wash so it lasts even less. I always play with dilutions to see where it loses effectiveness and what I can safely use to increase savings.

I just looked and my Finish Kare 118, 1z Einszett Perls, and Duragloss 901 all say 1oz/gal. I have some Finish Kare 1016 that is 2oz to the gallon!

Today I used DP Exteme Foam in a foam cannon for the first time. Dilution for non-bucket use is suggested at l:3 or 1:4. I used 1:4 but would like a bit more lubrication, so I'll bump it up a bit next time.

The wash was about the same as Griots, the only other shampoo I've tried. Cleaning function (if that's what you call it) was very good. Shine is a bit better than Griots. And drying with MF towels went better. This is a new paint job (white), so everything shows. The paint is 90 days old so my next step is to give it a light polish to bring out the luster. Then Wolfgang sealer.

Unfortunately there is a mistake on the label. It reads "1 capful (1 oz)". It is correct that it is 1 capful per gallon but a capful is 1/3 of an oz not 1 oz. We will have that revised in the next print. Hope this helps.

Wash pads are the second most important purchase for me and nothing I've tried comes close to the Adams synthetic wash pads. I have the same one I bought five years ago and I recently purchase a new one. I can't tell the difference between the two.

I'm interested in these. It doesn't look like AG sells them so I'm assuming straight from Adams is the best place? Does the fact that they are synthetic make them more prone to scratch the paint at all? Looks like they hold a ton of shampoo. Do they shed at all after a few uses?

*Not trying to hijack the thread. Ultima shampoo is my next purchase but I am waiting with fingers crossed that it goes back on BOGO before summer at some point.
